Bosphorus Full-Day Sightseeing Tour: Golden Horn and Bosphorus Cruise, Spice Bazaar, Camlica Hill and Dolmabahce Palace
The Best Tour Guide Ever!
, Jan 2020
Our small group of 2 people was led by a truly professional tour guide. His sense of humor was phenomenal. As a fellow tour guide and owner of a small tour company, I value his sense of humor among the tour guides the most. He delivered 200%. Professional, carrying, funny and just a simply super nice human being, created memories of a lifetime for us. Istanbul was on my radar for a very long time and now my heart is full of gratefulness and happiness!
1) The Bosphorous Sight Seeing is by a normal boat loaded with passengers - so even though the title of the tour sounds great you have to jostle with others for a view. The top deck is a mess. The lower cabin was better. Suggest to go straight to lower deck and carry out the guide's discourse there rather than go to to the overcrowded top deck. This is a suggestion
2) Visit to St. Stephen's church was interesting
3) Lunch was good
4) Camlica Hill is a waste of time
The guide Dianna was good and was the redeeming feature of this tour

We had one day private tour with Ilker. He picked us up from our hotel in old town and toured old and new town by public transportation.
We enjoyed his knowledgeable guide and availability of our requests. Due to our schedule, we still have a lot to see left.
If we have a chance to come back to Istanbul, we want to have another tour with him.
My friend and I were heading to Istanbul and wanted to get the most bang out of our three full days without having to worry about where to go/what to see and in what order. I booked the 2-day private tour a couple of days before and our guide, Fatih, did an amazing job of adapting the itinerary to fit our interests. We did some history and hit the major sights, but he quickly understood that we wanted to have more local experiences and to try all the foods we had heard about, Fatih took care of everything and helped us maximize our time in Istanbul. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend this tour as the best intro ever to Istanbul.
Our guide, Fatih, was simply wonderful. He met our girls' group at our hotel and crafted a 2 day tour for us. We quickly found our groove and he catered to our interests. He is a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer EVERY single question we could possibly think of. He worked overtime both evenings without being inconvenienced. In fact, he even took the opportunity to show us one of his favourite places for dessert! By the end of two days, we felt that we had seen the best of the city and made a new friend. It would have been impossible to navigate all of the winding streets, language barrier, boat ferries, and more without his help. Don't hesitate to book with Fatih.
Make your Istanbul adventure totally unique with a 1- to 2-day private sightseeing tour. Opt for a single day and see the whole of the Old City, plus the Grand Bazaar. Extend the tour to include a second day and visit the Spice Bazaar, Dolmabahce Palace, Taksim, and Istiklal Street, plus a Bosphorus cruise. Please note that your guide is happy to alter the itinerary completely to accommodate your personal interests.
We had a wonderful private tour of Ephesus! Our tour guide was excellent and so knowledgable. After the touring we had lunch with him, and enjoyed the food and getting to know more about him and his country. I'm sorry that I don't remember his name, as we had so many tours during our cruise, and I am getting names mixed up.

Cappadocia is really amazing and this tour will probably leave you with the reason for it. Our tour guide, selim was knowledgeable and friendly making the whole journey comforting. Left with a slight disappointment that we did not visit the Pigeon valley, maybe perhaps there aren’t any pigeons during winter.
This trip was so amazing, the underground city, trek near the river, the canyon, the stone company and the Turkish delight company and also other small stops we had. The guide (Saleem) explained to us things in detail.
This was an exceptional tour organised by Stone Land travel. Would highly recommend this one day tour. There are similar tours offered by every other travel agency in Cappadocia, but since the tourism is unionised here, the prices vary very little between agencies.
After being picked up from our hotel in a minivan, we were transferred to a bus which would take us on the tour.
Our guide Mr.Salim was very energetic, friendly and gave the right amount of information at the various stops. The included lunch was a set menu and very basic in quality and quantity, but what else can you expect on group tours.
the highlight of the tour was the 3.5km hike along the majestic river in Ilhara Canyon. The natural landscapes was simply breathtaking.
The gemstone stop was a bit unnecessary but worth a glance. We were dropped back to the bus station after the tour from where we walked to our hotel. Some guests were offered a drop back to their respcetive hotels on request.
Pro tip: Do not carry a heavy bag as this tour involves plenty of walking, crouching, climbing. Leave heavy bags in the tour bus if need be.
See more of Cappadocia on a full-day tour that visits both historical and natural attractions. Check out the views from Göreme Panorama and Yaprakhisar Panorama, enter the subterranean chambers of Derinkuyu Underground City, and see ancient rock-cut churches at Selime Monastery. Also, take a leisurely 1-hour walk through the scenic Ihlara Valley, and check out Pigeon Valley. Includes lunch, entrance fees, and hotel pickup and drop-off.
A very good trip but too short a visit to the ruins of Troy!
, Dec 2019
We made our trip on Dec 12, 2019. The organisation was perfect: communication, pick up and drop off at our hotel, transportation, lunch, guidance during transportation, etc. Our guide in situ however didn't answer to this standard. He appeared to be a competent man, but his attitude was not at all conform. During the entire visit he gave the impression he wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible by rattling off his comment and constantly running metres ahead of us. By doing so he pulled down completely the level of the trip. That's the reason why rating the trip we leave it at 'average'. Understandable because the visit of the ruins of Troy was precisely the purpose of our trip.

During a walking tour, learn about the famous archaeological site of Troy and see a replica statue of the Trojan Horse. Our guide, Mehmet, and our driver picked my sister and I up at our hotel promptly as planned and was extremely friendly and knowledgable about Ephesus and the other area highlights. Mehmet really listened to what we were interested in seeing and customized our tour accordingly. After the tour we had a pleasant lunch of local foods at a small eatery that was located next to at a Turkish rug school which we also briefly toured.
My family and I were very pleased with our private tour in Ephesus. Our tour guide was Dilek and she was very knowledgeable about the sites, always had a smile on her face and were happy to answer any questions. I highly recommend them.

The tour itself was good, learned a lot of history. But the tour guide made 2 long stops to the rug /carpet making company and the ceramics. The rug company have very aggressive sales people. It was really a waste of our time and very tiresome.
Our tour guide Cigdem Dikentas Vidinel was very knowledgeable of the Greco-Roman history of Ephesus and was able to answer all our questions. She was patient, attentive and pleasant. It was a joy touring Ephesus, lunch and carpet co-operative with her.

I was traveling to Turkey for the first time and wanted to learn more about Izmir's local attractions like Ephesus, The house of the Virgin Mary, and the Temple of Artemis. It was a private tour and they pick me up from my hotel. Ozge was a great guide and fun to hang out with. She was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories for each site. It was very hot day so having AC in a van, plus umbrellas to protect you from the sun was very nice. The tour ended with a lunch and optional tour of how Turkey makes carpets. Even if you don't buy anything, it's fun to watch. I recommend this tour.

Very enjoyable. Tour guide was knowledgeable of history of the time period and conveyed to us the significance. Would highly recommend this tour for those wanting to learn the significance of Istanbul and the Ottoman Empire.
Our guide was knowledgeable and nice, he took us to most of the highlights in Istanbul.
We were picked up in a large minivan just for us two.
The Turkish Rug store our guide took us to was legit.
The place we had lunch at had a nice view but the food wasn't the best.
I would recommend this tour, you can't go wrong.
