Wallis has been trained in pilates techniques since 1998. She was trained by a physiotherapist while recovering from a persistent back spasm, and pain, due to severe scoliosis, with curvatures exceeding 40 degrees. Passionate to the benefits of the work, having been trained by multiple physical therapy professionals, Wallis is eager to impart the valuable lessons she has learned. She absorbed the work so well, her initial therapist created a certification program so that Wallis could teacher in the PT's practice - which she did until March, 2002 - until founding her own pilates practice. Learning the specifics of injury prevention, and recovery, with posture, alignment, relaxation, in a progressive, comprehensive, integrative, fun, nurturing environment - these are the premier reason's to work with Wallis'.
