Our guide Andy from Victoria Food Tours gave us a great overview of downtown Victoria along with the historical context. Really enjoyed the 7 food/beverage stops throughout the interesting route and he arranged for us to speak to the chef/owners to share their stories. A thoroughly enjoyable walking tour that I highly recommend!
Andy our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. All the stops were spread out evenly along the route, which made the walk manageable for older folks. Make sure not to eat a large breakfast if you go on the early tour. Lots of good bites along the way to fill up on!
Thanks again Andy for a swell jaunt down memory lane.
My husband and I came from Missouri and this was one of the best things we did on our entire trip. The food stops were amazing and the food was so delicious. We even went back for more after the tour. Andy was so fun and active. You can tell he loves what he does and has a bond with all the places we visit. We could do this tour again and enjoy it just as much. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Victoria.

The driver of the van who picked us up was new to the job this year, however it was like he was doing this for years. The best story teller we have ever had on a transportation on a tour. Very knowledgeable and friendly, clear with instructions and very passionate about Butchart Gardens and the family history. We got very lucky to have experienced him and his great stories. Keep up the fantastic job!

We were thrilled to see humpback whales several times during our time about the Prince of Whales.
One "stood" up in the water and watched us and not long after she came up beside our boat and floated on the surface beside us- actually touching the side of the boat. The naturalists were quick to tell us this was a rare event. We loved the sea lions and the seals on the way back as well. I should say that it rained once we left the Inner Harbor, but no one cared afterwards.

There weren't a ton of people on the boat so it felt like a very personal experience. We were warned we might not see anything, which was disappointing.. however we saw a whale early on and watched it for a while. Very cool. Staff were awesome. Plan on very warm clothing as out on the ocean is very cold, I did and I still got cold, so over prepare. They do have blankets available and an inside space to stay warmer. We also got to see sea lions on an island. The gardens are awesome and beautiful! They give you times to get picked up, but these had changed and it was either be there for 1.5 hrs or 4.5 so it felt rushed, and we did see almost everything but were didn't want to be there until 9 at night esp. When the cafe and food places were closed by the time we got there. Was raining, but they provided us with umbrellas. Overall very happy and good experience.

The best was the History and how he brought it alive. Would recommend the pedicab tour anyone, they would have a great time. The pace was great and we had time to walk to some of sites. Enjoyed it the best of what we did in Victoria. Do it again
