Small-Group Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Trip from Vancouver
Wonderful tour guide - Tim
, Jan 2020
I liked how he was able to pick up everyone either on time or early. I liked his demeanor and some of the stories and history of Vancouver and Victoria. It was super helpful he provided us maps and "Flower marks the spot" of where we are being dropped off and where pick up will be. It was a beautiful and pleasant day. Also the tour company was excellent as I did get separated from the group - on purpose - and how he quickly was able to pick me up at the gates of Butchart Gardens. It was also fun the quizzes he gave us to see if we learned anything new. He ended it too with a pleasant soundtrack of Canadian musicians.
Experience Victoria’s signature beauty on a full-day tour from Vancouver. Traveling by coach and ferry, witness the region’s stunning waterways and mountains en route to British Columbia’s capital. Spend the day snapping photos and visiting the city’s top attractions like the world-famous Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre (22-hectare) haven for nature enthusiasts. This tour combines guided coach tours and free time to explore on your own.
Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Vancouver Lookout
Best way to see Vancouver!
, Jan 2020
My friend and I were visiting Vancouver for the first time and this tour was absolutely perfect! We learned fun facts about Vancouver and got to see some highlights of this beautiful city. The Capilano Suspension Bridge was incredible as were all of the stops really. Our guide Sarah was fun and informative and allowed us options to customize the tour. Would highly recommend to anyone lucky enough to be traveling to Vancouver!
Enjoy a wonderful overview of the Pacific Northwest on this full-day coach tour of Vancouver and the adjacent North Shore. Wind through downtown, Chinatown, and Gastown. Visit Granville Island, snap photos from the Vancouver Lookout's observation deck and admire Stanley Park’s famous Indigenous Peoples' story poles. Cross the Lions Gate Bridge and head to the teetering Capilano Suspension Bridge and the glass floors of the Cliffwalk. Stop at a salmon hatchery before you’re transported back to Vancouver.

Natural beauty and human artistry
, Jan 2020
We visited Vancouver the last week in December and had heard that Capilano had some great holiday light displays. The price seemed a bit high but it turned out to be money well spent. It was easy to get from our vacation rental to Canada Place by Skytrain and the shuttle picked us up right in front. We arrived at the park in the late afternoon when there was still enough daylight to see the natural beauty in and around the canyon. After dinner at the restaurant (pretty good and not TOO expensive) it was dark enough to enjoy the holiday lights. Not quite as spectacular as those at Butchart Gardens but very nice indeed.
Definitely glad I went. The heights are not for the faint of the heart. The views are amazing and so much to see. The shuttles come frequently, but I'd recommend getting on the first bus. It can get crowded pretty quick so the earlier the better.
This was an awesome experience! Highlights of the park would include the Suspension Bridge, Tree Tops Adventure Walk and of course the Cliff Walk. Furthermore, the natural beauty of the forest was amazing. The Trading Post was well stocked and staff were helpful and friendly. Food options on offer were good. Had a tasty burger at the Logger's Grill with some Vanilla Orange Coke! The free shuttle service arrived on time at the designated pick up points. I would highly recommend it a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
Immerse yourself in nature’s splendor moments from downtown Vancouver. History meets the great outdoors at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where you wander through the stunning temperate rain forest. Soar over the Capilano River as you cross the suspension bridge, climb through old-growth fir trees on the Treetops Adventure, and rise high above the canyon along a towering wall of granite on the new Cliffwalk.
North Shore Day Trip from Vancouver: Capilano Suspension Bridge & Grouse Mtn
Don't Miss this attraction
, Dec 2019
I booked this attraction mainly for my three 14 year old granddaughters and they loved it. I could not climb the bridge for health reasons but the girls found the bridge and the cliff walk very exciting and interesting. At Grouse Mountain, the biggest attraction for the girls was the Birds in Motion Demonstration. We did see two bears but they were very far away it. There was very little else to see or do there. The Sky ride that takes you up and down is not very good because they cram way to many people in one car and you feel like a sardine in a can.
Fit some epic natural sightseeing into your Vancouver vacation on a half-day tour of the area’s gorgeous North Shore. Your personal guide escorts you over the Lions Gate Bridge to the Capilano Suspension Bridge for an exhilarating walk along the cliff-hanging footpaths. Then ride the Grouse Mountain gondola high into the alpine forest to see native grizzly bears.
Explore British Columbia’s coastline by land and sea on this Victoria and Butchart Gardens tour from Vancouver. Hop aboard your ferry and enjoy a cruise through the beautiful Gulf Islands. Stand on the deck and watch the waves for whales and sea lions, and keep your eyes on the skies for eagles. Visit the botanical Butchart Gardens, where trickling fountains sit among themed flowerbeds and sunken gardens. Explore vibrant corners of Victoria such as Chinatown and the Inner Harbour at your leisure and soak up the metropolitan atmosphere.
Took the four hours tour. Our guide Mike was very nice and kind. He make the trip plaisant . Even if english is not my first language, I didn't had problems to follow his comments and explanations. Will take a longer tour if I visit your beautifull city again.
Make the most of your time in beautiful Vancouver on a half-day tour of the city’s highlights. Your driver escorts your group to popular attractions such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, Chinatown, and Gastown. See totem poles, wander through food stalls and craft galleries, and get great city views from lookouts like Prospect Point. As you ride, listen to fascinating stories about the city, from the First Nation’s People to contemporary culture.
We enjoyed the tour and the history. Got to see all of the highlights and lots of tips. One thing to consider is if you want less structure and are comfortable on your own you can rent the bikes on your own from the place and they can help you plan your route.
This was a great tour, very organized . Got to see a lot of the city and it’s neighborhoods. Loved touring through Stanley park. Guide was super friendly. Would loved to spend more time in Granville island. A good overall tour of city if you have a short period of time there. Awesome!
Discover the beauty and culture of Vancouver on a small-group bike tour—great for riders of all levels. Accompany your guide on a leisurely ride along dedicated bike routes. Explore the city’s natural wonders like Stanley Park's rain forest and historic neighborhoods like Gastown and Chinatown. Cruise along the seawalls for gorgeous views of the North Shore Mountains, False Creek and more.
This tour was amazing. We were seated at a reserved table next to a very nice couple and had great conversation the entire tour. We could wander to the upper decks at any time and enjoy the fresh air and amazing scenery. The lunch was excellent. The captain navigated the boat in a very professional manner. The tour took us to a waterfall, and the captain backed the boat right up adjacent to the waterfall with great skill for terrific photo ops. The entire tour was narrated with interesting information about all the sites we were enjoying. Then at some point, I noticed that the bartender was the tour narrator! Talk about multitasking! The commentary was excellent and so were the drinks. This tour exceeded our expectations and we had an great time! We will repeat this tour the next time we visit Vancouver.
My wife, son and I were very pleased with this cruise. We were met with exceptional staff who were friendly and helpful. In preparation for our trip to Canada we read the reviews and confirm as previously noted the dinner menu was great. The scenery was beautiful and the water was calm (wonderful weather was present). Recommend Viator for all your tours - no matter where.
Delight in the beauty of Vancouver on a lunch cruise along the city’s gorgeous waterfront. Enjoy a unique dining experience as your float through Vancouver’s Inner Harbor, Burrard Inlet, and Indian Arm—a dramatic glacial fjord. Stroll the deck, indulge in a freshly prepared buffet and take in the beautiful sights including the Coast Mountains, verdant forests, and local wildlife.
We had Hanson as our tour guide and he was great overall. Lots of things to do in Whistler despite the winter weather. Peak 2 Peak was open this time and it was the highlight of our visit. Shannon Falls and other scenic area we stopped along the way was also nice. They also dropped us off the airport after the trip and made sure we won't miss our flight (as this was our last day in Vancouver). So that was extra special for us. I will recommend this to my friends!
Play in wild and beautiful British Columbia on a small-group trip to the alpine village of Whistler. Enjoy pickup from Vancouver or Richmond and head off on an epic tour through mountainous terrain and past rushing waterfalls on your way to the world-famous ski destination. It was a great trip. Staff are knowledgeable and boat nice. Saw 8 whales last trip of season!
, Nov 2019
It was the last trip of the 2019 season and we saw 6 humpbacks close and two in distance as well as sea lions and harbour seals. Staff provide a lot of information through and answer questions. Trip was 4 hours. I will def do the full day trip from Victoria next time.
Amazing trip with great information and insights into the whale population of the area. We were blessed to have witnessed humpbacks and orcas on a beautiful clear calm day. Our naturalists on board were so enthusiastic and helpful giving us the experience of a lifetime.
This whale-watching adventure from downtown Vancouver gives you the chance to see whales and other marine life. Hop aboard the ‘Ocean Magic,’ a 62-foot flagship vessel, and keep your eyes peeled from one of several viewing areas. Learn about the local history and geology from knowledgeable crew on board, and soak up views of the Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands, and Howe Sound.
It was such a great day! Saw a pod or two of humpback whales, some sea lions and a bunch in seals (floating boulders ha!). Our guide was great! She was knowledgeable about the area, friendly and entertaining.
Would definitely do it again!

Whistler Sightseeing Tour from Vancouver, see Horseshoe Bay and Shannon Falls
From $124.67 (Price varies by group size )
, Oct 2019
the first part through the park, Horseshoe and the falls was great. But 3 hours in Whistler with the gondola down was way too much. So-so stores and not good lunch places left us ready to return after an hour! would not recommend spending all that time in a van. Thanks, Dick Talmadge
This tour from Vancouver was the highlight of our trip!! Whistler was definitely worth it, but even with over 3 hours it wasn't enough time to see everything. If you're doing the gondola get in line right away or see if you can purchase your ticket online before hand. The line just to buy Gondola tickets was about an hour. That's a lot of wasted time. Go straight to the top of the second leg of the ride. See everything and take pics then stop back at the first peak for more pics then head back down the mountain if you want to explore the town at all. Time runs out fast. We were fortunate enough to see Bears too.
The waterfall stop at Shannon Falls was beautiful!!
The only negative thing about this tour were the two stops at the sound for bathroom breaks but there was nothing to see at these stops. I would have much rather been able to get out of the car and take pictures at the mining town Britannia Mine instead of just pass by. The other thing I think Viator should do is remove the picture viewed on this tour of the Squamish Suspension Bridge, you don't even stop at Squamish on this tour and that picture is very misleading because that is something you don't even get to do on the tour.
Our driver Bijourne (I know that's spelled wrong) was very good.
Overall we loved Whistler and this tour.
Luke was a great host! I loved our smaller van so we got to know everyone which was great and the sights were amazing! The only thing I would say is it would have been easy to do an add on of buying the peak to peak bought prior at Whistler either by the company or at least told to purchase prior to coming. The line we were in was long at Whistler. I would not wait for the glass gondola as it for us was not worth the wait - it was better if we had just done the regular gondola to get more time in the snow! Shannon Falls was beautiful! Luke was great b/c he even said if your going to be late call me..and that was not what we got with anybody else. So thank you so much Luke!!
Travelers that want to explore Whistler on a day trip from Vancouver typically need to rent a car and drive, which means focusing on the road rather than the landscape. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy the views on this sightseeing tour to Whistler, complete with a guide to whisk you there. Along the way you can see Downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park, enjoy views of Howe Sound, and take a few hours to explore Whistler independently.
Vancouver City Tour Including Capilano Suspension Bridge
Good summary of Vancouver
, Dec 2019
We did this tour as it seemed to offer a number of highlights of Vancouver as we were only there for a couple of days before a cruise to Hawaii and wanted to pack in as much as we could in the short time we had, pick up was from the hotel we were staying at, so that was easy, then around a few others to do more pick ups, with some interesting commentary along the way, a lap around and short stop in Stanley Park, and another stop at the Grenville Island Market to grab lunch, then out to the Capliano Suspension Bridge, all were good, time at each was OK considering what was being packed into one day (a little longer at the Market might have been nice, but it was still OK!) we were then offered the option of being dropped either back at our hotel, or near the Steam Clock, so we did the steam clock drop off which was the end of the tour, but it gave as the chance to also wander around Gastown which was a bonus, so we feel we saw a lot of the highlights of Vancouver with one simple tour, our driver/guide was great, we were on an almost brand new electric bus for the day.
The tour was satisfactory overall. The bus driver/tour guide Herman picked us up from the hotel and picked a few others up at a central location from another bus. We were all able to start the tour on time. We drove through a bit of downtown, chinatown, and stopped at Gransville Island for lunch and stopped again at Stanley Park for pictures. We were not able to go to the Capilano Suspension Bridge due to an event that caused the Capilano River Regional Park to close down for the day (which was disappointing to not be able to go there, but life happens). The tour company compensated by taking us to the Vancouver Lookout Tower downtown (similar to the Seattle Needle) and a partial refund. Overall, it was a nice day.
Spend half a day touring Vancouver’s natural and urban highlights on this sightseeing bus tour. Your savvy guide escorts you to key attractions such as Canada Place, Robson Street, and cross the Lions Gate Bridge. Listen to interesting commentary as you wind through vibrant neighborhoods and tree-lined paths in Stanley Park. Then head to Capilano Suspension Bridge for an exhilarating walk along the cliff-hanging footpaths.
The guide was very knowledgeable with regard to the subject matter and history of the park. Relaxing option to experience Stanley Park. The horses were well kept and trained. Kids would also love the horse-drawn experience. Would definitely recommend it.
Discover the natural beauty of Vancouver’s Stanley Park aboard a horse-drawn carriage on this charming 1-hour tour. Sit back and relax as your trusty steed clops along Park Drive overlooking the Seawall. An informative guide shares engaging commentary on the sights, including the Rose Garden, Girl in a Wetsuit Statue and the famous First Nations totem poles. Snap memorable photos of Vancouver and the Lion’s Gate Bridge. It’s a great way to experience the fresh air of Stanley Park without tiring your feet!
This was well worth the time and cost! The park tour was great and lasted about 2 hours. The city tour was 1 hour. Wonderful introduction to the city! Good way to spend a few hours when the weather is a bit cold!
Bus driver was the guide and he did a great job.

Choose between the City Route or the Park Route, or the Dual Pass if you'd like to do both. Explore historical landmarks and shop along Robson Street at your own pace.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening dinner cruise. The city lights were spectacular and the service was good. We wished they would’ve had some narrative during the cruise to tell us what we were looking at, it all in all, a nice evening.
Looking for an enchanting and unusual way to spend an evening in Vancouver? Take a leisurely dinner cruise along the city’s gorgeous waterfront. Listen to live music and savor delicious Pacific Coast-style cuisine as you float through Vancouver’s Inner Harbor. Stroll the deck at sunset, indulge in a freshly prepared buffet, and take in the beautiful sights including Canada Place, the North Shore Mountains and the West Vancouver skyline after dusk.
This was a lot of fun! Very informative, loved hearing parts of history. The savoury food was really good and portion size (sample) was good. I was very disappointed with the sweet samples. I don’t have a sweet tooth but the sample size was pathetic. Tia was so fun and an awesome guide!
We had a party of 4 & were very impressed with the whole experience. We enjoyed Liam our tour guide. He was very informative & funny. Very personable. We throughly enjoyed all the offerings of the tour. We would go back to several eateries if we get back to Vancouver

Sea to Sky Highway Day Trip from Vancouver: Shannon Falls & Sea to Sky Gondola
, Sep 2019
The sea to sky gondola was closed so instead we went to Grouse mountain. That would have been great except for the rain and cold. The grizzly bears were a nice touch. It was raining too hard for the lumberjack show. The rest of the day was rain free so we got lucky.
Shannon falls was beautiful and the mine was very interesting. I would recommend this tour. Steve was our tour guide and he did a wonderful job
The drive and scenery really made this an awesome day out. Rene was the tour guide. We were picked up promptly from the hotel. The tour mine was fascinating and very informative. We had seen Shannon Falls the previous day and there wasn't much water. It rained the previous night so our second visit meant there was a lot more flowing water. The Gondola (sea to sky) is currently not operational so they gave us Grouse Mountain instead. Grouse Mountain is definitely worth a visit. We added on the Wind of the Eye visit on Grouse Mountain. Rene ensured we had enough time to complete this activity. Overall, money well spent. Good job ,Rene!
Experience the essence of British Columbia on a full-day excursion along the Sea-to-Sky Highway! Leave the Vancouver area for a 7-hour trip through mountainous terrain and along Howe Sound to visit Shannon Falls—BC’s third largest waterfall and pan for gold at the Britannia Mine Museum. You’ll have plenty of time throughout to trek along forest trails, buy lunch, and participate in optional activities.
It was an excellent holiday getaway for a family of four to Grouse Mountain. Also as VIATOR stated they matched the price guaranteed once we found out they had a family special and reimbursed the difference in price.
We visited Grouse Mountain and loved every minute. Included in our admissions was the cable car, chair lift, a fantastic Lumberjack show and of course the bears, just to mention a few of the things to see and do whilst there. This tour is a must when you are in Vancouver, it is great value for what you get to see and do.
By the time we finally got through the traffic in Vancouver and out to the park some of the attractions had closed. We enjoyed the gondola ride up and down and had a very good supper on top of Grouse Mountain.

Hop aboard your seaplane in Coal Harbour and take to the skies with your pilot. Watch as the Burrard Inlet becomes a speck in the distance, and admire fine views over Lion’s Gate Bridge and Stanley Park’s Brockton Peninsula. Soar over the Salish Sea, and gaze over the Gulf Islands’ sandy beaches and dense forests.
I thought this tour included local guide for city tour but this is on your own, I needed to buy city bus hop on hop off to see around at Victoria island until the bus started at 10:30am, I enjoyed seaplane ride and shuttle bus at ferry ride for return back downtown city, however the final drop off at Pacific centre train station was far away from the Canada Place where we started, but overall is good experience, thanks
