Lovely half day. Loved Burano , so pretty. Saw glass making in Murano . Torcello was just a brief look round but it was lovely .Guide was explaining on route, history and knowledge on boat and then we looked around the three islands ourselves but not very long on each island. still a worthwhile trip
It's a great tour very colorful and family oriented loved all the 3 visits but loved Burano it's like stepping into a post card. Loved the outdoor cafes and loved their shops... will do again in future.
This is a really good tour if you want to see the islands on your trip. You get 45 minutes on each island. I felt a bit rushed on the Murano Island because after the glass making experience that didn't leave a lot of time to look around. I would high recommend this tour though we both really enjoyed it.
All 3 islands were beautiful. Would recommend this tour to everyone. Must see!
Daniel was an excellent tour guide and he took us all around the Cortina area. Although we had a good bit of rain and clouds on this trip never did see the highest, most dramatic mountain tops, we still saw lots of awesome scenery and had a wonder lunch at Quinz Ristorante della Locanda Al Lago. Highly recommended.
The Dolomite tour is an absolute must-do in Italy if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, or any other busy tourist city. It is full day tour so be prepared for a 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. excursion. But it is well worth it. Our tour guide Justin was very good and knew so much about all the little villages we visited, and of course the Dolomite mountain range. He also took some amazing pictures for us and sent them right away by e-mail, which was very nice of him to do. The views are spectacular and really took our breath away. There is a lot of driving to get there, but once you're there, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Justin for such a wonderful experience in Italy!!
THE GUIDE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE HISTORY BUT CROWDED TOUR, I TOOK THE PRIVATE TOUR TO MURANO AND BURANO AND IT WAS DEFINITELY BETTER.
AMAZING!!! THE CHAPELS WAS WOW, CANT EVEN WONDER HOW THEY BUILD IT THAT MAZING. AND TO TOP IT ALL DID I SAY AMAZING.
This was a great tour. Our guide, Christina, was SUPER comprehensive and provided an amazing level of detail from start to finish. I was more in it for the boat ride and scenery and not to go shopping, so I thought the time to explore Murano and Burano was just perfect. Burano in particular is super picturesque and cute. The only small complaint I have is that the boat ride from Burano back to Venice is about 50 minutes...this would be the perfect time to serve Aperol Spritzes and cicchetti onboard!

This was a wonderul tour! Our guide Justin was a treasure. He made sure all 8 of us had a good time. He knew the mountains well and made sure we had the best views of the Dolomites. Our itinerary was altered slightly we were unable to go to the Dolomite peak as it started to snow and they closed the road - but this did not alter the fact that we had a really fun day and saw some beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a break from the Venice crowds!
Great tour! Our guide Marco was great. He was very knowledgable about all of the places we visited. The fact that this was a group of eight in a van made the experience much more enjoyable. All of the towns we visited were amazing. The tour was everything we expected. Having a great guide like Marco made it all the better!
If you love the Alpine atmosphere and need a nice change from sea level...don't hesitate to take this tour. As a geologist - I went for the geology, but I was so awed by the beauty all around me. From the unexpected snowfall and changing leaves, to the chalets and the majestic peaks...every turn provided another wow. I went mid October - first snowfall of the season - this turned out to be the perfect day for the tour.
This trip was wonderful. The only problem was that it would have been cheaper if I just paid at the street, rather than booking through viatour. I believe the trip was about 5 euros cheaper at the dock , so with the two of us, I lost 10 euros for booking early.
Fantastic tour. Amazing scenery. Just the right amount of time at each stop. Lunch at the recommended restaurant was awesome! Small group a huge plus. Our favourite day in Venice. Highly recommend!
we enjoyed the boat ride including the information provided by the tour guide. we did not know that we would not have a tour of any of the islands, but instead we were given sufficient time to wander thru the streets and shop. the long walk on Torcello was unexpected so we did not tour the bascilica, but did enjoy just sitting at the park at the restaurant
This was an excellent tour from Venice. It took a little over an hour to get to the winery. Met the owner of the winery and then took a tour of their process ending with a wine tasting of their wines. We then proceeded to Verona where we had several hours to have lunch and visit a few of Verona's sites. Our tour guide was excellent and very personable. We spend 2 weeks in Europe and this was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in wine.
Great and beautiful trip!
Great guide and driver and spectacular views
Loved this tour!!! The guide was great and the boat drivers were excellent and very helpful! We learned a lot about the 2 islands and enjoyed our time there as well as the travel between the islands. My only issue comes with the way this tour is listed on Viator. It does say it is wheel chair accessible and the boat pictured looks as if it might be. However, we traveled on local type small boats - not as pictured - so the drivers had to lift my chair into/out of the boats after I got in. It was doable for me, but others may not be able to do this. But on Burano all the paths we took were completely wheel chair friendly with only a part of the lace demo on a second floor. And Murano only had one place with a few steps. We were so glad that the boat drivers agreed to accept my chair/scooter and to get it in and out of the boats for us. My husband especially enjoyed the ride across the lagoon. We had enough free time to get in either lunch or lots of shopping. Some got both done. We would recommend this tour highly, but if you use a wheel chair check with the tour company ahead of time.
We very much enjoyed visiting the glass blowing in Murano and the opportunity to purchase authentic Murano glass as well as seeing the other two places. Very quaint.
Great excursion with the most amazing scenery and photo opps. Justin, our guide, was professional and knowledgeable. Best trip we've ever done!
great tour friendly people clean boat lots to see and enjoy
Awesome experience visiting the islands of Murano and Burano. Great way to see up close and personal... especially the glass making which is an amazing form of art. We even had the good fortune to catch sunset returning to Venice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We highly recommend this tour!
