The guide was very good and spoke english very well :) Loved the trip and recommend it to everyone that are visiting Venice for the first time.
A very unique experience.
This walking tour was fantastic and so was our guide Hazel. We went back the next day to some of the restaurants we visited. Group size of 10 was perfect. The tour includes wine and chicchetti's at 3 places and that is why the price of the tour so great!
This tour was awesome! We absolutely loved our guide, Marina. She was cute, knowledgeable and engaging. I'd recommend this tour to anybody visiting Venice.
Tour guide was excellent and made the experience so much more than had I been alone. Without a guide, you'd miss too many subtle pieces of history and information, detracting from the visit. As usual, Viator/City Wonder Tours exceeded my expectations!
A must. Great tour to points of interest you probably would not have found. Guide was very interesting and entertaining. Had audio equipment so could follow easily, taken around in small groups
Was cheaper to book in advance and simple to check in when got to meeting point.Gondola ride was amazing, go together as a group then board gondola in groups of six. Perfect few hours.

Very good tour with a chance to see the back streets. We had a very good guide who was really easy to listen too, on time and efficient.
Excellent tour, the guides are well informed and passionate about the city and its history. Great value for money my wife and I enjoyed it immensely.
Julia was an excellent tour guide. She was very informative and made sure we had the best tour of Venice. Our tour was scheduled for 3 1/2 hours and it ended up being 4 hours long. Even though it was a Sunday Julia did not rush the group.
Excellent tour. Thoroughly enjoyed both the walking tour and the boat ride. Guides were very informative and you did not feel rushed

Our guide, Andrew, was very good. He was informative, funny, and easy to understand. We particularly liked the fact that the tour took us to places in Venice that were off the beaten patch.
Great times. Our walking tour guide was Marina and she did a fantastic job teaching us about the city and explaining what we were seeing. She told us about the interesting things that go on in the city occasionally like when it floods and how people deal with it. She pointed out interesting aspects of the historical sites that would not be visible otherwise. For instance, there were mosaics above the St. Mark's Basilica which were created in different centuries and had a very different style. The boat tour was a lot of fun because it really did take us everywhere in the city that can be reached by a small boat. It lasted about 40 minutes and we went all the way around the outside of the city to see the other islands of Venice and we went through the Grand Canal to see the heart of the city from the perspective of the water. Francesco was a great tour guide and he pointed out interesting details like the 7-star hotel where George Clooney got married. Apparently the two biggest enemies to Venice were Napoleon and George Clooney.
Fantastic tour of the quieter areas of Venice away from the main square and crowds. The walking tour was in the south end of Venice in the Academia area. We happened to be there during a protest of the cruise ships and the spectacle was absolutely fascinating. Our tour guide did a great job of explaining some of the inner workings of the city. For instance, a small house with a garden might sell for 6 million euros. Many of the homeowners would sell a property for 3 million and move away and now only 55,000 residents live in Venice. The gondola ride was really fun although we did it in the dark. I highly recommend this tour.

This was one of the best tours we have taken. Our guide was amazing. We started off on a Skip the Line tour of San Marco, which was definitely worth doing as the general queue was very long. The inside was amazing and I would have loved to have had more time inside. Our guide then took us to places in Venice we would have overlooked. Seeing all the hidden squares and learning about the architectural styles from a very knowledgeable guide was definitely enjoyable. His knowledge of Venice was incredible, and he made everything come to life. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice.
Great tour. Our guide for the tour was extremely knowledgeable about Venice, Italy and it's history. We saw some parts of Venice that we probably would not have known about and we enjoyed the whole experience. Would certainly recommend as great introduction to this city.
