Spanning some 6,000 acres along the Great Zambezi River, this lush rainforest reserve boasts incredible views of Vic Falls and well-marked hiking trails
Hwange National Park
Just two hours drive from Lake Victoria, Hwange is the largest and most historic game reserve in Zimbabwe. It’s home to more than 100 species of mammals and 400 species of birds, making it ideal place for a game drive or a horseback safari.
Mana Pools National Park
Known for being one of the best places for game viewing in all of Africa, this park is a true destination. Flood plains become lakes in rainy season and as seasons shift, animals from around Zimbabwe gather for a cool drink.
Zambezi National Park
This reserve, which connects to Victoria Falls National Park, contains most varieties of Africa’s largest animals. Hire a canoe for an up-close look at hippos and crocs, feast on a riverside picnic, then spend the afternoon fishing in the Zambezi.
