Standing in stark contrast to the baroque palaces and grand plazas of historic Vienna, the colorful facade of the Hundertwasserhaus is one of the city’s most unique works of architecture. Unconventional and somewhat eccentric, the apartment complex ...

If you are looking for an introductory tour of Vienna, this is a good choice! I didn't really know what to expect but I was glad that we saw some sites that are a little harder to get to on your own. Hundertwasserhaus , Beethoven's house, the Vienna Woods, etc. are all not that easy to get to if you only have a few days in the city and were some of my favorites from the tour. The cruise was unlike any cruise I've ever been on because we went through the Danube canal at one point and had to wait for the water to even out and for the canal to open. This was really cool and allowed us to see really beautiful sites of Vienna. The drive to the Vienna Woods was a good end to the day since the scenery was so nice and we got a panoramic view of the entire city once we got to the top.

We expected it to be a fun ride through the city! The meeting point was a bit of a hassle as it was in front of Schillerpark and it took us a while. We later reached our point and found out to be exactly behind Le Meridien! Even the operator at City Bike tours didn't mention that. It's hard to find taxis and the tram is your best option.
Despite the rough start, me and my wife began our bike tour and our tour guide was Kasburg. He was friendly at first but later turned out to be rude and disappointing!! He was rushing the tour and hardly gave us enough time to take photos! We saw our fellow riders rushing to take photos along the way! He gave us just 10 mins to see the famous St. Stephen's Cathedral and 15 mins at the Hundertwasserhaus! Me and my wife went to pray at the cathderal and while we we returned to our spot, our tour guide was very rude for us being just 2 mins late. This was really disappointing! It's supposed to be a fun bike tour, not a strict timely military style ride!
Later, we went to the famous Mozart statue and we just saw it from a far distance and he didn't even bother to allow us to take photos! Someone should tell this guide to be more polite and humble towards tourists! It was like as if he was doing us a favour! We pay for his salary! Don't waste time on this bike tour, its 80 riding the cycle and just 20 sightseeing! Disappointed!
