The palace was built between 1698 and 1702, by Constantin Brancoveanu, in a renaissance style, combining Venetian and Ottoman elements. Also known as domain, being formed by the next buildings: the actual Palace, Gheorghe Bibescu Chapel, Ice House, St. Gheorghe’s Church and also the Mogosoaia Greenhouses.The tour then continues with a stop at Snagov Monastery, an important medieval monument, which is located on an island on the Northern part of Lake Snagov. This fortress was built at the beginning of the 13th century by the Wallachians and in the 15th century Vlad The Impaler(Dracula) repaired and consolidated making his main fortress. We continue our journey through one of the most famous road calledTransfagarasan, a road that goes up to 2000 meters and crosses the Carpathian Mountains. Up there you can enjoy the view of the mountains, take a look at Balea Lake(a glacier lake situated at 2,034 m of altitude) and have a romanian tradional lunch in the nature.
