I'm sure that having an informed and friendly tour guide adds considerably to the tour and this is just what Vince did for us. My husband and I were glad to see the memorials at night even though we saw them during the day as well. Very glad we were able to visit Washington, D.C., during a 'slow' time of year - mid-September.
Great a beautiful night as well. Infrormative.
We did this our first evening in DC. Loved it! Our tour guide, Dave, was very informative and entertaining. DC is beautiful at night and it gave us a wonderful overview of the city upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend this tour for your first DC adventure!
Totally worth doing we had MJ as our tour guide he made it even better such a loveable character
The trolley ride was great as well as our driver. He told us alot about the area that we did not know before. The only bad thing about the evening was the weather, but that's not his fault. It was totally worthwhile!
It's an interesting experience to travel around Washington DC on this tour. That's a way to know the history of the historic places and some fun facts of the past presidents. Joey was our guide and she was very knowledgable about the DC area. Our driver Tony was helpful to look for the route possible even there was a marathon on the run. Recommend you to visit DC with this tour! :
this was an incredible tour and the best part of our three day Washington DC trip. The tour guide was friendly , dynamic, and was a great historian about all of DC , the monuments and buildings. Windows large and open so you could see from all sides. We stopped at four sites with plenty of time to get up close and really experience the monuments. FANTASTIC!!!
Mr. History was a fabulous tour guide. His narration was so wonderful that you could hear a pin drop in the bus. Everyone was riveted.
We loved seeing the monuments at night. It is a different experience than seeing them during the day. It is a great tour for adults and children.
Our tour guide, Jason, was so over-the-top excellent!!! So knowledgeable, lots of fun and interesting trivia and stories, has a 'radio announcer voice', very kind, extremely professional, went the extra mile for everyone on the bus. It was the Hunters' Moon, over which no one has control, but it sure added to the experience. It was just a fabulous night!
I wish you would add the Jefferson Memorial we're a UVA fam!
Excellent tour to take to learn where everything is located. Very informative and the monuments look even more impressive at night.
Mr. Holland our driver was very good! A great way to check all the monuments out.
Vince was our guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable. Well worth the money for the number of stops and the amount of information given.
mr. holiday was a great tour guide!!
Excellent tour guide. I am a DC native and I learned a lot. Fun and funny too. Thanks. Peter
Smiley was amazing!!!!
Outstanding tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and the monuments so beautiful at night.
Smiley! wonderful guide, knowledgeable and funny!
Anthony the tour guide/driver was friendly, knowledgable and entertaining. It was a pleasant and informative event.
A must do tour - it was very serene to see all of these in evening and our driver and tour guide was HW he said it stood for hard worker - but he was just EXCELLENT. We had great weather so were able to unzip the windows and be in the open to take pictures.
Fantastic night tour! Monuments are wonderful by moonlight. Our tour guide - Mr Holiday - was very knowledgeable. Take this tour!
Great tour! Mike the guide was fantastic.
Lots of information. Tour guide's sound system too loud, which was distracting.
Lots of information, but the sound system was too loud and distracting. Should have been quieter and more respectful in Arlington Cemetery.
I loved everything about this tour except one thing-- the tour kind took over an hour longer than the posted tour time, getting me back to my hotel way later than expected, and I had a very important meeting early the next morning. While it is great that he was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and obviously loves what he does, I would not have participated had I known it would take that long.
Our tour guide was Chris. He was very knowledgeable, gave us lots of info and was easy to hear and understand. My only problem with the tour was lunch. We were taken to a kiosk to order our lunch and eat at outside tables.....which was fine. But we hadnt been there very long when he came by and said we had to take our food on the bus and eat it while we drove to the boat ride. I said that we hadnt even gotten our food yet......was afraid the bus would leave without us so when we got our food we took off for the bus as fast as we could and in my panic I left my coat. And we couldnt go back for it. He did try to call but didnt get hold of them. If we had known we had to try to juggle food and drinks on our laps on the bus ahead of time we wouldnt have ordered anything. Other than that......the tour was great.
Great evening, only drawback was I did not expect the Queuing up for the trolley which was a bit off putting until we realised there were several Trolley buses. Also, we also brought the two day hop on and hop off pass which included a night tour so we could have gone on this instead
