Ljubljana and Bled Lake - small group - day tour from Zagreb
Excellent day trip from Zagreb
, Nov 2019
This is an excellent place to visit if you happened to be in Zagreb and have a day to two to spare. Lake Bled is so beautiful with a little island somewhere in the middle of the lake. The boat ride to the island is not cheap but definitely worth the experience. The view from Ljubljana Castle is equally gorgeous. Try the cake from the cafe near the entrance of the castle. It's nice. Overall a very nice day trip from Zagreb
Wonderful day to Solvenia. It was a beautiful country. Good amount of time in Ljubljana (1.5 hour free time plus about 30 min tour with our guide). It was a good blend of free time and guided tour. Same with Bled. Had plenta ride (15 euro/person) to church in middle of lake. Could have used a little more time (about 15 min) there but did not feel overly rushed. Same with Castle Bled. Maybe 15 min more but still did not feel overly rushed. We had Dino as our guide who on the way to Slovenia gave great information on Croatia and Slovenia making the trip pass quickly. It is about 50/50 car and outside of car but well worth the venture into Slovenia. I will say we were lucky and had minimal trouble at the border but it was October so be prepared you may get back later (we were back about 7:15pm) and many have slightly less time due to boarder crossing. Again, worth it.

Not only is it worth visiting because of how amazing it is and the amount of beautiful pictures you can take of the amazing waterfalls, the tour itself was super nice! Luka was our guide and he made the experience a very nice one! He was always in a good mode, shared history details with us about Croatia, answered all our questions and was our own personal photographer hehehe
For sure a trip I would do again in another season! Thanks Luka for a great trip!

Ljubljana and Lake Bled Full Day Small Group Excursion from Zagreb
Ljubljana and Lake Bled Full Day Excursion from Zagreb
, Dec 2019
My wife and I really enjoyed this day trip to Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Our driver, Luka, who was also a guide for a part of the trip, arrived in good time to pick us up in a comfortable minibus, where there were 5 of us altogether. He was full of interesting information and was kind and courteous throughout. When we arrived in Ljubljana, we were met by our local guide for the walking tour of Ljubljana, Urša, who was excellent at explaining the history and legends of the area. She even brought us to a free tasting of locally produced liquors and honeys which went down very well, and knew her stuff when she was asked any questions. We then met up with our driver Luka again after lunch and we travelled to Bled Castle and Lake Bled, who was our guide for this part of the tour. He was very knowledgable in the history of the area, and made sure all of us were comfortable when accessing some of the steeper parts of the castle pathway, before we were safely transported back to Zagreb in the evening. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning this day trip from Zagreb.

The tour was terrific due to Marko our amazing guide. Not only was he super knowlegable, he took a personal interest in us.
We were picked up on time and although the main road was closed due to high winds, the hotel was called to make sure we were coming
Our tour guide was Andre with Petros Tours.
He was amazing. He explained everything from the moment they picked us up and made sure we had no surprises.
He was with us the whole walk, answering all questions, in Plitvice, and arranged for a very smooth transfer to the bigger bus that took us to Split.
He introduced us to the new guide- Rocco who was also very helpful and made sure we had a safe drive to our hotel.
We had no wait between transfer.
I would recommend this tour with this company to anyone visiting Croatia.

Full-Day Ljubljana and Bled Small-Group Tour from Zagreb
Picturesque Ljubljana and Bled island
, Oct 2019
Ljubljana is a very small city but it has many pretty architectures. The river running right in the middle of the city is very calming and the glass bridge makes a perfect place for pictures capturing the beauty o f the city. Going up to the castle is also another steep climb although there is the option of a funicular. You probably can skip going into the castle because you could already get pretty views of the city by walking around the exterior of the castle.
Next is to Bled lake and the additional boat ride of Eur 15 to the island is well worth it. Once you reach the island, you will need to climb a long block of stairs. I didn't pay additional EUR 9 to climb up to the clock tower as the windows are all covered with wires so they probably won't make for a great view of the entire lake. However, taking pictures around the island itself is already a lovely experience. Early October is when it' near autumn so trees are starting to change it's colours. This makes the pictures absolutely stunning.
After touring the Bled lake, we went opposite to the castle to have a different view of the Bled island.
The entire tour is quite rush I feel because the places are too nice to give up photographing them which means there is practically no time for lunch. Be prepared to pack snacks and sandwiches so that you could enjoy them while ordering a cup of coffee from the local cafes. Another tip is to buy fruits and vegetables from the market near the funicular. They are very fresh and cheap!

The tour guide was on time and the vehicle was comfortable. It was worth what we paid for. Included the hike throughout the lake and a boat ride as well. A great excursion well planned. We were dropped off to where we were picked up from. We really enjoyed.

Do NOT miss this day tour to Slovenia where you hit three beautiful spots: the lovely town of Ljubljana, the amazing Postojna Caves and the breathtaking Lake Bled. Best private tour to see Ljubljana, Lake Bled & Postojna cave
, Oct 2019
Couldn't be better, My driver & guide was excellent & so professional. Highly recommend. My driver even ook me shopping for some swim wear as I forgot to bring my swim wear and I am so pleased that I got to swim at Lake bled. Got to see the hidden treasure and all was so smooth. Thank you, I had a fantastic time.
Our with tour Tanja was amazing. She was well organized contacting us in advance with the itinerary and any special requests. She was also on time and allowed a good amount of time at each location. Our first stop was lake bled. It was as beautiful as the pictures. Especially the views from the top of the Castle. My sister had injured herself and we were unsure if we would visit the cave. However, as she was feeling better, Tanja was still able to the book tickets so we could visit. Visiting the caves in the middle of the day turned out to be a good idea. Because, it was very hot outside but cool in the cave. Make sure to walk with a sweater to avoid buying one as it is pretty cool at some points inside. The cave was also very beautiful and impressive. After the cave we spent some time in Ljubljana. It started to rain however, Tanja was prepared with new big umbrella for each of us. This was another beautiful location. She gave us a walking tour of the city. There we bought delicious fresh fruit from the vendors and did some souvenir shopping. It was my sister ‘s birthday and Tanja treated us with Slovenian dessert at a cafe beside the river. She taught us to sing happy birthday in Croatian which we sang to my sister. It was a fun evening. By the time we heading back to Croatia, we felt as though we had just went on a trip with an old friend versus a tour guide. We were laughing and having good conversation. Even though it was an all day tour, it did not feel that way at all. I definitely recommend this tour with Tanja.

While the tour started half hour late, upon arrival our guide made it a great private tour experience and introduction to the sights and tastes of Zagreb. Experience the tasting and 4 restaurants was more the expected with wine. Thank you.
Gabby was a fabulous and interesting guide. The food and wine were great! Having to walk down the dark stairs alongside the funicular was the only reason this tour received 4 stars. Not only was walking down the stairs dangerous but one of our friends was pickpocketed. A recommendation for the future would be to provide tickets to ride the funicular down.

Plitvice Lakes was TRULY BEAUTIFUL! I have never seen water that turquoise. Andrea was great. She taught us a lot, made us feel comfortable, and met all our needs-- from adjusting the tour when we had an unexpected delay to taking photos of us so we didn't have that awkward selfie shot. She was really kind and friendly.
