Amazing trip that we thoroughly enjoyed...not to miss...
Great tour and guide. Highly recommended
Wonderful mix of city touring and the countryside.
Liechtenstein was primarily a tourist shopping stop
And not much to see. Heidiland was the surprise -
A bit of an uphill trek, but the scenery was beautiful and it was a great time to be in the mountains.
The guide spoke multi- languages and handled the three languages superbly.
We really enjoyed our day, and our guide was great. We had a chance to see the beautiful countryside and the Switzerland that you often read about.
This was a great tour! I loved the beautiful mountain views, the cheese factory and the stop at the Lindt Chocolate Outlet. The cable car ride and the views up the mountain and of the countryside were to die for! I also loved that this was a small group tour so we were able to get to know other travelers really well. I would have loved more cheese and chocolates, but overall this tour was amazing!
This was the most amazing day and I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was so beautiful and such a wonderful tasting day! You will not regret taking this tour!

Nice views and pace just right for a day in between long tours.

Nice tour...great cheese tasting , chocolate stop was to only see their outlet store....overall, a good slow paced tour, great scenery
Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable and did a great job explaining the Swiss culture and all of the locations we visited. It was a bit of a downer that we couldn't actually see the making of the chocolate but the cheese factory was pretty awesome to see. The gondola ride and the views at the top of the mountain were amazing! I would suggest taking some time to walk around there on your own after eating lunch.
Be aware that this is a long tour--we did not get back into Zurich until after 7:00PM. Lunch is also pretty late didn't get it till after 2:00. I would suggest asking for a timeline of the day so you can plan accordingly.
Overall I would highly recommend this tour!!
It was an alright tour. The tour guide Peter, creeped me out a bit. He was nice enough there was just something off-putting about him. Liechtenstein is an hour trip and it's really nothing just souvenir shops... I felt everything in this tour was short, rushed, and just not done well.
The scenery on this tour was incredible, and the tour guide gave good commentary on most of the trip. We really liked stopping in Rapperswil. Lovely little town, and the cheese pie a savory tart the tour guide recommended was excellent. We could have used another half hour here, though. We felt rushed to walk around and have lunch in a short time.
The Heidiland scenery in Maienfeld is pretty, and we paid to enter the Johanna Spyri house to see how the Swiss lived at that time.
Our trip to Liechtenstein, which was really the thing we were most looking forward to, was a complete waste. We had to wait for the Disneyland-like train to take us up to the village. It plays a little jingle about My Liechtenstein that sounds suspiciously as though the it was written by Disney's It's a Small World composer. We had 45 minutes there, and basically walked up and down the main street and then had an apple strudel which was good because that was all there was to do. If you want a fake tourist stamp in your passport, you can pay 4 franks to get one at the post office. Really? This is a real place with gorgeous scenery and its own history! When you go to visit another country or region, you want to learn something about it. We should have had a museum tour included, a visit to a castle, discussion of its history -- something! The best we could say was that we crossed the Rhine River.
My advice to the tour leaders is to drop the first part of the tour, which is the bus ride through Zurich. People can always take a separate Zurich tour. That will give more time in Rapperswil and Liechtenstein. And please work on providing serious information about Liechtenstein and something interesting to do there.
I feel very disappointed with my Heidiland and Liechtenstein tour on 1 October 2016. We can only spend less than 45 minutes at Heidiland including walking up to Heidiland, we can spend only 20 mins on Heidiland. The company combine two trips into one tour. Zurich half day tour with ferry/cruise combine with Heidiland and Liechtenstein tour. This arrangement is very poor and the coach is very full . If you are very interested with Heidiland, don't join this tour, it waste your precious time.
Everything was fantastic, the pick up, the guide, the driver and the drop off was great! I enjoyed myself immensely
A lovely tour into the Swiss countryside which also included a short city tour at the start. Liechtenstein was especially nice and the scenery throughout was very captivating.
Guide was excellent. Scenery was beautiful. Enjoyed all parts of the day.
The views were incredible and out tour guide was awesome!
I enjoyed this tour and we saw and did a lot in one day. Rapperswil was very pretty and I could've spent a little more time there. The time in Liechtenstein was not very long, but I felt appropriate for what I wanted to do get my passport stamp, look in the postal museum and some shops, and just take a look around. We had perfect weather and views at Heidiland were wonderful. We did had to walk up a hill to get there. I enjoyed the views, chatting with tourmates, and hearing cowbells during the walk, but the length and the incline may be difficult for some people. It cost extra to go into the house, which I did since I figured I would never be there again, but I felt it wasn't worth it- or at least it would've been nice if we got a group rate to go inside since many people from the tour went in there. The house and cottages provided for some nice pictures and I enjoyed watching the goats. The tour guide, Marcello, was very good and I learned a lot. There is a lot of time on the bus, but the views were great during the whole ride.
Our guide was excelled as was the driver!
An action packed day. The tour guide was very attentive and friendly. Spectacular scenery and lovely archetecture. Vaduz is a little disappoining, but the journey is worth it!
We had an amazing driver Armando and amazing tour guide Walter. Our trip was very fun. Filled with information but also we got to know each person on the bus and had a great time.
Everything was very organized. Everything was on time.
We would recommend this tour to anyone. I do have mobility problems and there are a lot of stairs or walking I couldn't do, however I was absolutely happy to just take in what I could. I received as much help as I needed from both gentlemen.
I went back today to see if my missing sweater was left on the bus. It was waiting for me.
Thank you Walter and Armando for my first tour in Europe!!!
Enjoyed the tour. Could have done without the tour of Zurich itself as when staying in Zurich you tend to have a wander around already. The tour then could be shortened.
This tour was a great fast taste of several different places. It is a long time in a bus. If you are looking to see Zurich, choose a different tour. We drove through Zurich and stopped once for a photo op at a scenic overlook then proceeded onward. We went to a nearby town to see a beautiful rose garden with stunning colors and to have a quick bite to eat. From there the tour separated with the half day tour heading back to Zurich via ferry. The full-day tour continued on to Liechtenstein. We had about 45 minutes in Vaduz which is just enough time for a few souvenirs, a passport stamp for 3 euro if you desire and a bathroom stop. From there we headed on to Heidiland. The reason I gave this tour 4 stars and not 5 was the tour of the inside of Heidi's house was not included in the purchased tour. There was a discount for large groups and we had a sufficiently sized group however that was also not presented as an option. The scenery of the Alps is simply stunning. We drove back to Zurich passing a beautiful lake and the mountains are just incredible.
This was a great trip to Liechtenstein and to see the country side. The only thing is the time between the stops is not quite long enough. Each place we stopped, we were only given an hour which also included the lunch stop. Especially with the lunch stop, more time should have been given. Other than that it was a great tour.

This was a lovely day tour - our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. This tour leaves at 11:00 a.m. we were delayed and left about 11:15. At both Rapperswill and Heidi House we were delayed due to members of the small group not coming back on time. This was extremely disappointing as everyone else made the effort to be back on the bus at the appointed time. I don't know if this needed to be communicated any clearer or if the people just didn't care. In the end I think this affected our time in Liechtenstein - which was the part of the tour I was really looking forward to. We had about 45 minutes - I think 1 hour and 15 minutes would have been much better. It takes time to get your passport stamped, visit the shops, and take pictures. Maybe if the tour started early maybe 10:00 or 10:30 this would allow more time and also not hit the Zurich traffic at the end of the day. I would still recommend this tour as it is quite peaceful and pretty but I think the timing needs to be communicated a little more forcefully at each stop.
