Excellent trip.Collected from central Belfast early am. Comfortable bus. Driver very clear with his instructions what time & where we would meet after rope bridge & causeway visit. Had dinner at THE GIANTS BARN (not included in trip price £9.95-good quality food very filling). NOT DISAPPOINTED with this trip- we always use viator whilst away and have NEVER had any problems.
Fabulous!

A terrific day trip from Belfast, with the opportunity to visit many of Northern Ireland's highlights. Our guide Dermot was very knowledgeable and nice (though some chronic latecomers did try his considerable patience at times). Gives you a good amount of time at each of the major stops: the Dark Hedges, the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge (not for the faint of heart!), and the Giant's Causeway. An excellent value for the money!
Beautiful Sites but Overrun with Tourists

The Giants Causeway is a cool natural feature but it is SO crowded. Don’t expect to get many pictures without hundreds of other tourists in the background. The Carrick-a-Rede bridge is also lovely but crowded, too. We didn’t see the Dark Hedges because a tractor tipped over and while everyone was OK, it was blocking the road l, so we just returned to Belfast. Neither Giants Causeway or the rope bridge are for the faint of heart. There is a lot of hilly walking (slippery and rocky in some areas), and you’re really bookin’ it to get to the attraction and back to the bus during your allotted time. My calves were sore the next day! Paddywagon was our tour operator, and they’re pretty disorganized. One bus was early from Dublin and could only take so many more from Belfast. He said the next driver would be there in five minutes but in a difference location around the corner, and he left. Our driver did arrive but 15 minutes late (about 20 minutes not 5 minutes later). The guide was nice and told great stories but when you’re on a 60+ passenger bus, and people are talking it’s hard to hear. I asked him to ask for quieter voices during his tales or important instructions but he never said anything. Also, free WiFi on board is advertised but that only applies to tours in the Republic of Ireland - not Northern Ireland - because of a network server law.
Awful!

Our tour was to leave at 9.45 from the Europa. We arrived a few minutes early. There was a paddy wagon bus there but it was full. Our guide showed up and explained that our bus was late so we continued to wait. We waited there for 45 minutes before our bus actually showed up which gave a very bad start to the day. The bus picked us up at the Europa. It was not a Paddy wagon bus but an extremely uncomfortable rented bus as we were told that paddy wagon had overbooked and had to rent this as overflow. This was unacceptable and this meant the whole day we would be travelling on this uncomfortable bus with poor air con. We then were told by our tour guide Bailey that we had to go out to a hostel to do another pickup. This was about a 10 minute drive and then when we did that pickup they realised that someone had not been picked up at the Europa so we had to go back there again. When we got back to the europa there was one girl waiting to be picked up and there was no seats on our bus so our guide had to stand which is dangerous and illegal. All because paddy wagon had booked too many on a tour and could not cater for them. We finally proceeded to leave the city and were heading for the dark hedges. Our guide was then on the phone trying to book us in for the days activities which we could not believe is not done in advance! When doing this he was told that we would be too late arriving at the rope bridge so we had to skip the dark hedges and go straight to the bridge and would do the dark hedges on the way home. Everyone on the tour just could not believe how badly organised this whole day was. But that was not the end of the disaster of a tour. About 5 minutes in to the tour the microphone stopped working on the tour so we either had the guide (who really tried his best to keep the day going considering the absolute mess his company left him with) shouting through the bus to get to the people at the back or else we could not hear at all. I cannot believe in this day and age that paddy wagon could not get a working microphone for a tour. Because of all of the mess ups we ended up having a very rushed day and did not get to enjoy the tour at all.
Great tour

This was a great tour however we did not go to Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge as advertised. No explanation was offered
A nice one-day tour of the beautiful countryside and several attractions outside Belfast

This 6 1/2-hour coach tour was a nice way to tour the beautiful countryside of Northern Ireland and to visit some of its top attractions, including the Giants Causeway (an unusual seaside rock formation) and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. For seniors like us, we recommend taking the shuttle bus (cheap) from the parking lot down to the Giants Causeway. Otherwise it's a long uphill walk back to the coach. At Carrich-a-Rede, there's no way to avoid plenty of up-slope and up-stairs climbing. The bridge itself was a snap; it took about a minute to cross. If it's a drizzly day, you'll need a light hoodie.

Our guide was hilarious and made the tour a very unique experience. He told us the stories and legends of the areas we were visiting and taught us about the history along the way. Everything was timed well and the start point was easy to find. The rope bridge is super cool!

This was a lovely day with a stops at interesting sights. The driver helped get lunch arranged which was very good.
