Oversigt

  • 80 min lyshjertet aftenvandring i Edinburghs historiske gamle bydel

Guilds were amazing. Great stories about death and torture mixed with lots of humor. Would recommend this to anyone. My 14 year old said this was her favorite part of the trip and my wife was laughing throughout the tour. A guilds who were friendly and went the extra mile with everything they did.

Relaxed and creative tour. A dark history of Edinburgh delivered in a lighthearted manner with fun banter, role playing and improv. It was quite fun!

If there was an option to leave no start that would have been more accurate. Not sure what to say really but this was the most awful tour I have ever done. There was no mention of any ghosts and it was a farce from start to finish. We only stayed out of politeness but this was a complete waste of time and money. It was a shame as the person doing the tour was okay but his goofy sidekick was ridiculous. If you were a 7 years old child you probably would have enjoyed it and thought it was funny.I am not sure how seeing 2 grown men pretend to cut off someone's arm has anything to do with ghosts. I don't think this should be advertised as a Ghost and Gore Walking Tour as it was neither and I feel very let down that I wasted money on this. My advice is do the free Edinburgh Ghost Walk or pay to go on a proper walk where they actually mention Ghosts.

This was my favourite tour whilst my partner and I were in Edinburgh for the week. I can't recommend this highly enough. Mr Clapperton applause and his assistant were right on the money with their character performances, fascinating history and many a joke that gave us a good laugh. They made simple courtyards, closes and buildings come alive with thier tales and theatricals. I am really very impressed and it set the bar very high for all the tours we went on around Edinburgh during our stay - none of which topped this one. Thank you ever so much for a truly enjoyable evening.

The office where we met for this tour was in an interesting part of Edinburgh. The two guides tried their best to entertain and were good, but I felt they could have known a few more stories abouyt the city, to keep us interested.
