One hell of a tour is all I can say. Really gives you a glimpse of beauty that is San Diego. Deciding on which tour I was to take I chose this one because it appeared to have the best interests for what I wanted to see. It lived up to those expectations and more! Fun locales and fun experience throughout! Morty was an awesome tour guide and gives great info on the locations and what is around. Found some great spots to check out when I return to SD someday. I love the tour bus as well. Very spacious and with the open windows easy to see the beauty that is San Diego. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that just wants to see the SoCal lifestyle up close without the hassle of having to do the driving.
It’s the best way to see San Diego.
Everything went as planned, although it was 4th of July crowed. We didn’t feel the crowed or the stress, the tour was handled very well. I recommend this to everyone who’s visiting San Diego for the first time.
We were fortunate that we were the only people to book the tour that day so we had a personal tour with Morty. He is very entertaining and knowledgeable about the San Diego area. He pulled over when my wife saw something that she wanted to take a photo of. He took the time to explain what we were seeing. It was entertaining and information and I recommended it to a few other people that were attending the same convention.
Full day done at a nice pace with great views of the pacific beaches and surrounding areas. Just enough time at each location. Great lunch stop at St Tropez. Our guide, Morty was very knowledgeable and made the day complete! Great way to enjoy the coast without the hassle of driving and parking.
The southern California coast line is a must see, especially for those living inland. The beauty is overwhelming and the activities associated with the cliffs and the Pacific ocean particularly the surfing, hang gliding and kayaking are sights to behold and to engage in if you are so inclined. Certainly, a camera and a good pair of walking shoes are a must. The seals sunbathing on the rocks in La Jolla were unfazed by our presence making for some very intimate photos. The serenity of the Self Realization gardens overlooking the Ocean were pure California. The seven hour tour goes very quickly not affording much time at any of the attractions as the guide keeps moving at a rapid pace. Re-visiting some of the stops at one's leisure is a good idea.
The tour was good and we saw all the areas that were listed on the viator website. However their were only 3 of us that day, and so we were driven around in a small car versus the bus listed in the online tour discription. It was not a very comfortable way to spend the day and we would have cancelled if we had known the transportation had been changed.
Of the places listed that we were supposed to visit, one closed on Mon and 2 were just drivebys. So, you really only visit 3 beaches, the Cabrillo Monument and the Torrey Pines Gliderport. In addition, no historical, geographical, geological facts provided. No ability to get water and food inedible.
