Despite multiple confirmations, the theater could not find our reservation. They adjusted when we arrived and were able to seat us but gave us the wrong meal. Limited English from the staff and definitely saw a preference towards native Japanese guests. Show actors were lively and generally entertaining. Due to the communication issues and lack of customer service, would probably not recommend unless you have a lot of time on your trip.

The show is a collection of Japanese myths and stories done in mix of traditional modern music and style. It was done tongue in cheek so its both educational without being very serious and quite funny too! ITs all ni Japanese but the movement OF actors and flow of each segments madre it understandable. The stage is deceptively simple but gave the whole show a lot of dimension and flexibility. The cast was wonderful, all talented and skill full in dancing. I LOVE the costumes that to ME Realty showed the best of Japanese fabric and textile designs!

We booked an evening show with all you can drink and appetizers. With all of the great places to eat in Roppongi, I would advise to eat before or after the show rather than the bento dinner which seems a bit overpriced. The theater has a rather small is very high tech stage with various elevation mechanisms to create an illusion of depth and height to accommodate all of the dancers in this show. It is part cabaret, part vaudeville, part martial arts but thoroughly entertaining and not at all what I was expecting. Oiran invokes images of the old time high end prostitutes and I thought it would be an adult themed show. It was anything but that with young dancers with high energy putting on a wonderful performance with multiple costume changes, themes and music in this quaint little theater. The issue for us was finding it in the first place because we booked the first show of the night and the door was shuttered and we couldn't find the entrance until someone finally opened the door at 6 pm. For those booking the show, go to the Hard Rock Cafe and it is one block before you get there on the right. It is next to a parking lot entrance and it doesn't look anything resembling a theater. You are greeted by a host and taken several flights of narrow stairs but your skepticism is allayed when you reach the theater level. It's a night club sized venue with the high tech stage and sound system. The performers come out to greet you before and after the performance and they are friendly and beautiful. Highly recommend this show if you're adventurous enough and resourceful enough to find the place! Great value and a very raucous crowd makes for a fun evening.

This is not a classic Oiran show, but I liked the modern interpretation of this show. The actors played very well. I recommend to visit this show.

Pictures and description are misleading. Have no idea what the message was, if there was any. The only nice thing was that artists walked around and said hello before the show. Walking on the streets in Tokyo, eating in any restaurant or shopping are all more telling of the Japanese culture than I found this show. Bad value for money.

The show was a bit funky but fun. The performers walk/ talk/ sit for drinks with the audience before show time. The woman impersonator was great- he/she was funny and entertaining.

Wasn't what I was expecting. Most of the acts were good, just one 'questionable and bemusing' - Peach boy? People were openly allowed to smoke so spoilt our enjoyment a little.

Absolutely loved the show! The theatre is a bit difficult to find but all staff and performers are very friendly. Make sure to get there early to enjoy the all you can drink option on drinks and snacks. Just before the show begins the performers come and greet the audience. The bar staff tell you that you can't use the bathroom during the show and you are not allowed to take pictures. Initially I thought it was such a weird thing but during the show the actors do use the space in front of the stage and navigate among the audience. At the end, when the introduce they actors one by one photos are allowed. I enjoyed the show throughout. Great experience!
