Our operations team had been stuck in the raging Civil War (Siege) in the Northern part of Ethiopia around the period of this tour, in which basic services such as communication (inc. internet) and electricity were suddenly cutoff (still remain cutoff as has been widely covered by international media outlets). We are glad that after seven hellish months, they are safely in Addis Ababa - thanks to the international organizations involved there.
To that end, we deeply apologize that you were affected by our situation. We assure you that it was a rare, war-time situation that led us to such a one-star review. To avert such unusual events in the future, we have hired a customer service agent , based outside Ethiopia, to mitigate such risks going forward.
