Thank you for the review. We do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. May we firstly point out that we are flexible when it comes to weather. Many of our clients will contact us the day before if they see that the weather might be an obstacle on the day of their tour and request to reschedule for a better day, if they have time left in Cape Town. We have always been flexible in this regard to try and accommodate their request. On the second point of the tour being delayed due to other participants, since this is a group tour, we cannot really be held accountable for clients running late for their pick up, but we try our best to accommodate them as well because it is a group tour. We can’t really be that strict and simply drive off if a client is late. But we understand your reasoning and will in future instruct the guide to remain calm and find a solution such as driving to the following pick up stops and then return to the one who’s running late. This way we will try to avoid further delays in the tour. Chapmans peak is always weather permitting due to possible rock falls and our clients safety is our first priority, therefore if the authorities have closed the Chapmans peak drive, it is for your own safety. We will in future instruct the guide to offer an additional stop along the way if Chapmans peak is closed either going or coming back because if it’s closed in the morning we try again in the afternoon, and this applies to Table mountain as well. If the mountain is closed in the morning we try again in the afternoon. Well, we are grateful for the review even though it is unfavourable but it gives us an opportunity to improve on our services.
