Our tour guide, Reno, was great! The park is small and so are the caves. I didn’t know this tour was going to two beaches. The first one was Gold Rock beach, which was INCREDIBLE. It reminded me of Trunk Bay at St.John. Reno let the group vote on how long to visit at each beach. He said the other beach had food. Therefore, the group went with Banana Bay beach for the longest time. If I knew what the beaches looked like before I went, I would of choose Gold Rock all the way. It is so clear and you can see the waving sand thru the water. Not to mention, not crowded at all and very secluded. I had snacks so food wasn’t a need for me. All I can say is go see Gold Rock beach, you won’t regret it!

This attraction was a disappointment from the begining. We were on a cruise and this was our excuriosion for the day at port. I called prior to out arrival to confirm the timing since we would be arriving that day. The person who answered would not listen to my concerns and even once speaking to management I wasnt sure that we would be picked up at the right time.

Once it was time to meet with the tour guide, we were treated as if we were stupid because we wanted to confirm that we were on the right tour.

When we finaly got on the transportation, we drove around for almost 2 hours picking other people up from their hotels. When we got to the last hotel they discovered that they had too small of a bus for all of the people that had bought tickets so we had to wait another 20 minutes for a bigger bus.

When we finaly made it to the national park it was amazing and beautiful! I would recommend visiting here because the caves were unique and the beach was fairly secluded so it was not over crowded.

After the park, they took us to a a restaurant that wasnt horrible but it was limited on choices to eat and it was the only place to eat nearby.

As we made our way back and dropped off the other people at their hotels, we were informed by the driver that since we had to go back to the cruise port he was going to drop us off with a different bus (not associated with our tour at all). He dropped us off at what appeared to be another beach area were people from the cruises were spending their day. We got on the bus, where we began to wait another 30+ minutes to leave because they wanted to fill the bus all the way.

As we made our way back to the port, we discovered that the bus wasnt even going back to our cruise ship but to another one that was not within easy walking distance. Eventually we were taken back to our ship and we were happy the craziness was finally over with.

This was one of the most painful and stressful tours I have ever been on. I'm sure part of the issues were because we were on a cruise but they told us that would be no problem and that they do it that all the time. I'm glad there was another family from our ship going through this with us or I'm sure I would have lost my mind.

I would not recommend this tour at all!!

We had an awesome trip with Biggie I think that was the name of the tour guide/bus driver. We booked the day before and everything went smoothly! We were picked up in the port before 10am. The tour-guide was very knowledgeable of all aspects of life in Bahamas. We drove to the Caves of Lucayan National Park, beautiful!!!, then from there walked 5 min to the Gold Rock Beach. Best beach I've ever been!!!! Spectacular! After about 1.5 hour, we drove to another smaller also very beautiful beach that had a nice restaurant. After an hour of more swimming we headed back and were back to the port on time by 3pm. Amazing day, highly recommend this tour.

A thoroughly enjoyable escape from our island getaway. We were picked up from our hotel, Viva Fortuna, in a large tour bus and during the 20-25 minute drive to our first stop at Lucayan National Park, our very knowledgable guide delighted us with historical information and anecdotes about the Bahamas. The the first stop brought us to the caves, filled with dozens if not hundreds of napping bats. The best had yet to come, however, as the next stop was Gold Rock Beach. This trip was worth the price alone, an amazingly beautiful location where we stayed for over an hour. Finally, we stopped for lunch at a cute little restaurant on the beach. The food was wonderful try the conch! and the view is equally impressive. I would highly recommend this trip if you're looking to get away from your hotel for a few hours to try something different.

The National park is small and not much to see but Gold Rock beach is stunningly beautiful. It was definitely worth the trip. Our bus driver gave us a lot of historical information on the Bahamas and that was interesting too. Nice day!

Hotel pickup and drop off time is included in the tour time shown, so we didn't have much time at the beach. Our guide Trevor was good and the two beaches and park visited were worth the money.

I was picked up from the port from my cruise ship. My son and I spent 2 hours on the bus while it went around picking everyone else up. The caves were a disappointment. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The small path to the two caves was rocky. I feared that the older tourists may hurt themselves on the paths. The beach was so worth the whole experience. The beach was about a quarter to half a mile hike from the road, but the beach was clean, the water was beautiful, and there were few people about so it was not crowded. We only had an hour to spend at the beach not enough time, but it made the cost and the rest of the tour tolerable. One thing that the tour company did that surprised and please me was that they sent a shuttle at our third location to pick my son and I up so we did not have to spend another 2 hours on the bus while dropping everyone off before us. Again the caves were a big disappointment, but everything else made up for them.

Trevor, our guide was really nice and made sure we were set on the right bus back to the port. The caves were interesting but I thought we could snorkel-not so. The beach is very primordial and open. We are at a nice restaurant bit no conch salad. The cracked conch was very good though.
