Abenteuer im Udawalawe National Park ab Galle

Prompt pick up from out hotel in Galle and a wonderful day at the park! On the way back the driver stopped at several spots that were a wonderful addition to the trip.

This was a great tour from an experienced Sri Lanka operator. They were extremely helpful, getting in touch with us before the tour via text or WhatsApp and answering our questions day and night. They were receptive to adding a new member and flexible with us on the pick up we were at an AirBnB instead of a hotel in Galle. The tour itself was wonderful, they only used experienced park guides who had been doing it for years and knew exactly where to go - we saw so many great animals including extreme close up of the elephants. Recommend stopping at the elephant orphanage for a feeding which was a great experience. Our guide also helped us organize another tour to see the Blue Whale migration which was also excellent. We had a great time with the tour company and would recommend them to all our friends.

Really enjoyed this tour. Summer dew tours made this tour special and incredible. They are such a great company and the guide was excellent. Took us to places where there were no other crowds and knew the best spots. 5* all round.

Fantastic experience with Nandana who is simply a wonderful human being. As a Naturalist, he was able to enrich our safari experience immensely, pointing our various wildlife in discussion with the driver in the park. He also made a couple of stops on the way back and only took us to places with reasonable pricing. He instructed us what places to avoid so as not to be taken advantage of and was an overall genuine person. We truly enjoyed his company despite how tired we were from the long journey and we were sorry that we weren't able to do more tours with him. We were forced to do this early morning safari due to our tight schedule but he advised us that the evening safari is better for viewing elephants. I hope to return to Sri Lanka for the evening Safari in the future!

Our guide Nandan was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He picked us up on time and also dropped us to a couple of places we wanted to see along the way back to Galle. The safari itself was also very enjoyable, though we did not see an entire herd of elephants only a few individuals here and there, including one battle between alpha males.

We had a fantastic Safari, well worth the early morning start. We saw so many elephants, crocodiles and birds. We enjoyed it more than Yala, and we loved Yala. Our guide Mahesh was fantastic.

There were so many elephants! Our tour guide, Mahesh, was so knowledgeable and friendly, and he definitely went above and beyond for us. Definitely recommend this trip to anybody visiting Sri Lanka!
