Cairngorm National Park und Speyside Whisky - Tagestour ab Inverness

Nach der Ankunft in Glenmore beginnen Sie mit der Erkundung der bemerkenswerten Landschaft rund um Glenmore und Loch Morlich, dessen Sandstrände sind ein deutlicher Kontrast zu den umliegenden Bergen. Um 13:00 Uhr geht es weiter zum Grantown-On-Spey für eine Mittagspause. Die Mahlzeiten sind nicht im Preis dieser Tour inbegriffen, aber der Reiseleiter kann Ihnen den perfekten Ort empfehlen, um etwas zu essen.
Am Nachmittag dreht sich alles um den schottischen Whisky, beginnend mit einer Führung durch die Glenfiddich Distillery, einer familiengeführten Destillerie, die im Jahr 1886 gegründet wurde. Besichtigen Sie die Kupferkessel, die Holzwaschbecken und die Lagerhäuser, in denen der legendäre Single-Malt-Whysky der Glenfiddich Distillery hergestellt wird. Weiter geht die Tour zur Spreyside Distiller (hier kostet die Tour ca. 10 GBP und muss selbst bezahlt werden).
Nach der Besichtigung der Glenfiddich Distillery begeben Sie sich auf die 88 km lange Tour zurück nach Inverness. Hier endet die Tour an ihrem Ausgangspunkt.

Although there were only 2 of us, Rabbies still took us on a wonderful journey. It is a new addition to their tours but our driver, the awesome Emily, did a fantastic job and was very knowledgeable about the area . The Cairngorms had its first dusting of snow and it was beautiful, cold, but beautiful. Absolutely loved the scenery and definitely recommend this tour, you wont be disappointed. Go Emily
Truly a full immersion experience. Our guide Duncan did an excellent job discussing relevant history of the areas we drove through and visited, as well as discussing current topics that are impacting the area. He had tracks of different types of local music, both past and current that he played for us. He bent over backwards to make the trip enjoyable for the whole family.
This was a really enjoyable full day tour, led by a young, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable tour leader. The visit to the Cairngorms was really interesting, as was the tour through Glenfiddich Distillery. The company who ran the tour, uses only small buses, therefore making for small tour numbers. There were plenty of stopping places for toilet visits, morning tea and lunch.
