  • Besuchen Sie das Holocaust History Museum in New Jerusalem

The tour guide definitely made it worth it!

I booked this tour at the very last moment, late evening before tour date. I was picked up by a taxi from the hotel and all was fabulously arranged. Our tour guide Dan definitely made it worth every penny of the tour price! He is super knowledgeable and nice and can present the historical facts in a truly fascinating way. The only downside was the slightly long time spent at the souvenir shop, but everything else about the tour exceeded my expectations. I’m very grateful for the tour provider for making it such a special and memorable experience!

Dispite really bad weather, cold, rain, wind, - we really enjoyed the tour and it is thanks to our guide person. He was extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and helpful. It was the second year in a row we traveled to Jerusalem and took similar tour- and both times it was an amazing experience

This tour offers hotel pick-up, and this was prompt (about 8:30 AM). At about 9:00 AM, you arrive at Mt. Scopus, where you are left to your own devices for up to half an hour (or more), near the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Here, you are informed you will await the bus that will take you on your tour, and given a bus number to look for. There is little apparent coordination, and your bus could come next, or it could come in forty-five minutes. However, they do advise there is a coffee shop for us to get coffee in. Our bus came about a half hour after our arrival at this makeshift depot. Fortunately, there were trees for shade, while we waited for a bus that might come at any moment. Our guide, Avishai, welcomed us and herded us all into bus number sixteen. From there, we were driven along the eastern and southern edges of the Old City, with a brief photo opportunity for the skyline of the Old city and then for the Garden of Gethsemane. As we got out at the first stop, Avishai informed us that we needed to keep our photos brief and after he was done talking. During his "presentation", my wife and I noted several historical inaccuracies. After arriving within the walls of the Old City, Avishai stopped near some posters of the Armenian Genocide and informed us that, "Israel does not allow such posters, as we have good relations with Turkey." I thought this was an Old City tour, and not a geopolitical symposium. My wife and I found his commentary here inflammatory. Avishai then moved us like cattle to a selected gift shop for some shopping. At this point, my wife and I were growing weary of Avishai's abrasive style and pondered leaving the tour. After being left at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, with little informative commentary from our guide, we chose to simply leave the tour. Yes, we walked off and we advise you do the same, but before spending your money on this waste of time. Get an audio guide of the Old City for less cost, and do it yourself. This tour was a waste.
Broken van, delays and enforced shopping

One of the company's vans broke down, so they had to scramble to make things work. the effect is that we sat around a lot and our tour-time was shortened. Still our guide managed to take us to a store where she get a kick-back and left us shopping for a long time.

Absolutely a great full day tour. I, nor my girlfriend have ever been. I am RC and she is Russian Jewish. We had such a great educational journey. It was deeply felt and eye opening. Our guide was a local from Jerusalem and was more than professional. We recommend this tour as it accompasses all four quarters and The West Wall. Great tour!

The tour was very well organized, unexpected problems were dealt with efficiency. Each area of the Old City and new one was given ample time! Our guide Ossy was well read and displayed a sense of humor & kept cool even when some of us got lost!

We had a wonderful tour guide called Ami. He was friendly, inspiring, full of information, enthusiastic and sincere in what he was saying. The tour started with a drive up to a high point so that we could look over the whole city. It was such a beautiful view and we had the opportunity to get out of the bus, film and take photos. The tour continued on from there so that we could see other important sites along the route to the old city, such as the Mount of Olives. Pity there was no time to stop there, though. Walking through the streets of Old Jerusalem, seeing key places, both Jewish and Christian, and having the historical, traditional and biblical references explained in such detail while we were actually there was wonderful. It's was a great experience for Bible scholars, but even if you were not, the tour guide's narrative made up for that. He literally brought the Biblical accounts to life. We had no idea beforehand, however, that there would be so much walking at pace in the heat of the day. If you're not very fit, be prepared. Wearing a hat is a MUST so as to not fade away from heat exhaustion or sun stroke, and non-slip shoes are advisable as the street stones are smooth, no doubt worn down by the thousands of pilgrims who've visited over decades. The tour also involves climbing lot of steps up to and down from some of the sacred places, as well as up to the restaurant where we had lunch. Its quite a strenuous tour and was a challenge for us, not to mention a few of the older members of our group. The last stop on the tour was the visit to the Holocaust museum, which was informative and interesting. We were not accompanied inside by our tour guide, so we were unable to ask any questions about what we saw nevertheless being able to visit the museum was a valuable part of the day. For all of the sites we visited and for what we saw, we would say that the tour reflected good value for money and would highly recommend it.

Booked an English tour and found myself the only English speaker amongst a group of Spanish speakers. The guide was not good and spoke more Spanish than English. Also saw none of New Jerusalem. Would not recommend.
