This tour name is extremely misleading. I honestly thought being in the epicenter of Arles and St. Remy that you could easily spend 4-5 hours discussing Van Gogh's work. When I brought this up to our tour guide, he thought if it this truly was the content, the tour would not be sellable. When I was doing my own research on Arles, the city had a map of 9 Van Gogh paintings that were made within the city limits and walkable.

The tour had a walk through Arles to see the arena, some roman ruins and 2 Van Gogh pics. There was only 30 minutes of free time to pursue other Van Gogh options which were not possible. No time to visit the Van Gogh foundation either.

The other false advertising is the group is suppose to be 8 people. For the Arles walkthrough we were combined with another group and became 16 for this segment. What really became frustrating is the other group was on an all day tour, which gave them an opportunity to go into the asylum hospital where Van Gogh stayed. Our group was brought to the front of the property and given 15 minutes not enough time to go in and see it there is a separate admission charge.

Very disappointing. This tour needs a serious rework on the Van Gogh side.
The only positive was the multimedia Picasso show in Les Baux en Provence. This was awesome- 45 minutes. Happy to have stayed longer. This was worth it! Loved this.

Wonderful memory we had. The guide was very nice and kind !!
We wanted to stay longer at St. Remi Hospital.
We hope we could have this tour again.

We saw many places Van Gogh was, in and around Arles, briefly stopping by the hospital outside St Remedy. I enjoyed the tour and thape scenery of southern France. To learn more, go to the Van Gogh museum in Arles.

I've always loved Van Gogh, I think since reading a biography about him in the 90's and going to the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. But after this tour, and seeing the places he lived in Provence and at times standing seemingly on the spots he stood while painting, I have a different level of respect for the man as a painter and a person. THIS is what I have to say about this tour. Need I say more?

This was not quite the tour we were expecting. My granddaughter was very disappointed that we did not get to see Van Gogh's hospital room which was included in the description of the tour. We would have liked to have gone to the bridge near Arles where one or some of the earliest Starry Night paintings were painted. Instead of focusing on Van Gogh the tour included some Roman ruins which were interesting but had nothing to do with Van Gogh.

Příjemný výlet s velmi dobře připravenou průvodkyní, měli jsme dost prostoru na samostatné prohlídky na všech místech, kterými jsme projížděli

Good day trip! Pleasant guide and nice way to see other cities of the Provence area, while learning a little about Van Gogh's time there.

Our Tour Guide, Adeline, please excuse the spelling was very good and informative. Her driving was smooth and steady so no one ended up sick. The tour section of Arles is something I would have liked longer, but that is easily said when I know nothing of the city. We loved Les Baux and the chance to wander. This is such a beautiful town. The crown of the tour was the hospital where Van Gogh stayed. I expected something almost morbid, but it was quite the opposite. I would not liked to have been a customer of the hospital, but the colours and scenery were fabulous. Being able to be where Vincent himself was just blew me away. This was a very enjoyable tour.

Was disappointed that the company did not have other people interested in this tour. They kindly transferred my booking to the Luberon and Lavender Museum tour. The hilltop towns of Gordes and Roussillon were beautiful and worth the visit.

Slightly bummed. I really loved the tour but the guide made a slight modification. I suppose he had good intentions but I didn't really feel as though he focused on Van Gogh. He changed the details around us to have us experience a festival that was taking place. We all did agree to this but we were not told we wouldn't have the opportunity to tour the Asylum which was my plan!. The Asylum is on the agenda with the option to tour it at our own expense. As it turned out, the festival included running of the bulls. No one wanted to see that and our guide seemed so confused by it. We all happened to be animal lovers and were against bull running!! Because of this we only had 15 minutes to view the asylum and a couple of monuments. The Asylum tour is 45 minutes so I had to skip it. We also never stopped in the cute town of St. Remy but only drove through it. We spent an hour at Les Beaux. Though cool I would rather have spent the time touring Van Gogh's asylum! Nice, polite tour guide though with best of intentions. This means I will have to go back. This time, on my own, no tour.
