Would be a shame not to get to St Catherine's monastery whilst in Sharm El Shiek. The tour length was as expected and the tour of the monastery was informative and interesting. The driver and tour guide were nice and professional. Lunch was great, and their detour to a great local bakery on my recommendation. What we didn't like was the shopping centre where we were invited to listen to a sales pitch to purchase local crafts of papyrus, perfume oils, and jewelry. Most tours have these special shopping trips, but mostly because the tour operators receive a percentage of sales. We didn't appreciate this added part to the trip.
