Come with us on this unique hiking trip to the so called "Crocodile Head"! The reason for this name is quite obvious when you look closely at the above photograph of the headland "Mjóvanes". The British Air Force nicknamed it "The Crocodile Head" during their occupation of The Faroe Islands in WW2, so they had quite some imagination those soldiers!It is a quite difficult hike, and the trip lasts 9 hours, where 8 of them are just hiking (with breaks), perfect for the true adventurer, that wishes to be challenged! Out on the headland, one of the guides has a small cottage, where we will enjoy a nice homemade lunch, hereafter you have the chance to enjoy the wildlife in the area, until we head back, for a four hour hike.With two private guides, that are familiar to the local conditions, they can tell you all the stories that are of legends, but also about daily life on the Faroe Islands.
