The participants (adults, families, ....) appropriate the techniques used by the craftsmen of the Alhambra and take away the objects made. A unique opportunity to make an authentic piece of craftsmanship of millenary tradition. You will learn how to handle tools, you will choose the combination of materials and you will make your first masterpiece of Andalusian craftsmanship.
On the day of the workshop, choose the art that most catches your attention:
- Mosaic: Like a puzzle you will assemble ceramic pieces of different sizes, color and shapes to make an authentic Arab ceramic panel.
- Plasterwork: You will paint a plaster reproduction of the Alhambra and cover some details with gold leaf.
- Marquetry (inlay): On a wooden board you will glue the different decorative elements; stars, fretwork and veneers to make a chessboard.
