The Lukang Folk Arts Museum in Taiwan’s Lukang Township was once the stately home of the Koo family, one of the oldest and wealthiest families in the region. It is now a museum containing more than 6,000 pieces, most of which date back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, offering a unique glimpse of life in another era. Among the collection you’ll find vintage photographs, household items, lacquer ware, carved stones, porcelain items, embroidery, musical instruments, and religious artifacts.
