Traditional Glass Carving Experience in Tokyo
"Make sure you know where your going before you have to arrive. It was a bit difficult to find this hidden gem in Asakusa, but entirely well worth it! If you have an appreciation for working with your hands or more generally craftsmanship, and art, you will certainly enjoy this experience. The English was somewhat limited, but if you are able to arrive early you will have little to no issue. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was able to keep the piece that I cut at no additional charge (there were no hidden fees). Indeed, I did not anticipate the experience being as meticulous as it was, which was quite the pleasant surprise. If you have never cut with a diamond blade before you may want to research it prior to put your nerves at ease. This is a very unique and hands on experience that will provide you with a remarkable memento from Tokyo."..."
