Wonderful tour with lots of tapas and wine. We just arrived that day and weren't sure if we made the right decision but glad we did! Great group and a fun evening with a very knowledgable tour guide.

Wonderful! As well as being highly informative, my guide tailored the tour to fit with by aspirations which was refreshingly unusual. As a result I gained an insight to Berlin that otherwise one would have to live here to experience. I strongly recommend this tour to everyone.

There were only 6 of us on the tour and we had a fascinating experience, tasting foods in places we would not normally dream of visiting but our guide assured us we very perfectly safe to eat the food and certainly the three of us did not suffer any aftereffects! She also gave us an interesting explanation into the cultures of the people living in this part of Berlin which was previously in the East. The only disappointment was that the guide was American and we would have preferred a local who would have been able to give us greater insight into the people living there. Would we recommend this tour - certainly

Margot was a terrific tour guide. She lives in East Berlin and knows the history, culture and unique food experiences. She is high energy to match the energy of Berlin and provided insight into the scene of arts, culture, music and food. We had eclectic food experiences and generous portions to taste or drink. Great tour!

Very good tour, took us to places and gave info that you would have never gotten on your own. The only negative was the curry wurst, why ruin a good wurst with catsup.

Fantastic enjoyable tour. Karl our guide personalized the entire experience. We learned all about East Berlin and what life was like during the occupation...all while enjoying all sorts of German food. Come hungry, as there is plenty to enjoy. We highly recommend this tour!

Interesting tour with a good group of people. Food was OK but not what you would expect.

The tour itself was great, brought us to parts of the city we wouldn't have ended up in on our own. A few things could have made it better. 1 Tour guide could have spoke a little louder 2 Tour guide should use from crowd control, there were a few times we were taking up the entire sidewalk, and impeding traffic. 3 Not start with a full sized lunch, made it harder to enjoy the later stops when we were full after the first stop.

Other than that, it was great and would recommend.

Interesting tour and guide. A walking tour of an old East German neighborhood. We were able to see buildings still showing damage from the World War, buildings constructed during the Soviet control and buildings renovated or constructed after re-unification, while receiving a short history of the area from a guide who was there. Food included a large selection of area foods, most traditional old German neighborhood foods eaten before the War. Warning, eat nothing before hand as the quantity is more than anyone can handle. Tour about an hour longer than stated, so plan accordingly.

Karl took us on a great tour and had excellent knowledge of the areas he took us to. The food and beer was all excellent - you will definitely not be starving after it finishes!
