The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is home to some of the most spectacular scenery on the Big Island, including the Kilauea volcano, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. On this shore excursion we make an early start and head straight to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park before the large tour buses arrive. Take in highlights including the Visitor Center for a video of the 2018 eruption. Also see the Kilauea Caldera with it's recent changes. Along the tour we will see the Steam Vents, walk out on past lava flows to see some interesting formations and more. If the Thurston Lava Tube is open we will walk through that also. After the Volcano Park we will travel to see Rainbow Falls and then a Black Sand Beach where we hope to see some turtles if nature cooperates. Then you will be returned to your cruise ship.
