Featured in the eponymous 1907 Harold Bell Wright novel “Shepherd of the Hills,” this working homestead offers a glimpse into what life in the Ozark mountains was like in the early 20th century. The homestead includes a petting zoo, miniature golf, and a kids obstacle course and play barn. There’s also a chapel where you can enjoy silence, pray, or meditate.
