Unfortunately I found the food uneatable and the show was a bit generic. There is too much that I would change - it does not seem to be a great option for tourists.

I would not recommend this trip for anyone. The food was terrible. I tried to eat all that I was served but it tasted horrible. The fish was smelly and disgusting. The beef stew looked like dog food. The entertainment was sub par. I really wish I had not wasted 3 hours in Budapest being stuck on a boat with horrible food and boring entertainment.

Basically it would be better if the noise during the meal was less and more attention being paid to the performers. They do work hard and not many people could enjoy it. It is not a drinking party alone. Combined the view and performance it is a lovely event.I would go again or take some visitors with me despite the comment i have made above.

The city by night is gorgeous from every angle, and the cruise did 3 full circuits ranging from Parliament to the National Theater and back. The food was good, but if you plan on drinking more than 3 beverages over the 3 hour period, the the all you can drink pass. They had a Folk show option and a dueling piano cruise option. We opted last minute for the dueling pianos, and the pianists were excellent. Unfortunately, the woman they had acted as emcee and singing was embarrassingly amateurish and shouted rather than sung, and because of the PA system, it was impossible to escape her voice even on the exterior sections of the boat. It is definitely worth the night view of the bridges, Parliament, the Castle, National Gallery and other sights close up and illuminated at night and a romantic visual and dining experience.
