Meet your guide and group in Pijao's central square. Embark on a walking tour through the town, viewing traditional Colombian architecture and learning the role of the town in the area's coffee production history. Stop at several landmarks that are important in the trade and culture of coffee production.
Climb into a 'Willy', the specialized jeep used for transportation over the rugged terrain in the region. Drive out of town to a working coffee farm, passing through the lush landscape filled with the verdant green of coffee fields stretching in every direction. Once you arrive at the farm, receive a warm welcome from the farmer and sit down for a hearty lunch. Walk around the farm on a guided tour, during which the farmer will fill you in on the coffee production process from growing plants to pouring the ideal cup.
After your tour, climb back into the Willy and head for the plaza in central Pijao for drop-off.
