Why Travellers Choose This Tour

A 48-hour bus pass and three fast-track entrance tickets makes this package ideal for time-crunched travelers.
Enjoy a hassle-free sightseeing tour of Edinburgh’s best attractions, monuments and landmarks by comfortable, double-decker bus. Purchase your 48-hour pass and redeem it by hopping on the bus at one of the many designated stops such as Waverley Bridge, Grassmarket or St Andrew Square. Grab a seat inside or on the open-top deck for 360-degree views, and listen to colorful audio commentary as you zip through town.

Enjoy ultimate flexibility by traveling along any of the five main tour routes (Edinburgh, Majestic, Mac, Hertitage or City Sightseeing; stops listed in the itinerary section below). Take your time exploring Old Town, wandering the historic Port of Leith, snapping photos of beautiful Newhaven Harbor, scaling the spiral staircase of Scott Monument or window shopping on Victoria Street.

Your ticket comes with an added bonus! Hop off for free admission to the Palace of Holyroodhouse (Holyrood Palace), Her Majesty the Queen’s home in Scotland. Then flash your pass for entry to the UNESCO-listed Edinburgh Castle. Learn the castle’s brutal and glorified history, riddled with battles, sieges and centuries of royal shenanigans. If royal history fascinates you, don’t miss the opportunity for a free tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia, the gorgeous boat owned by the British Royal Family for more than four decades.

The full loop of each bus route lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours. To end your tour, just hop off at any point along the route.

An excellent way to tour Edinburgh and includes entry fees to the Royal Yacht Britannia, The Castle etc. Friendly bus staff. Would advise you do the hole tour on your first day then selecting where you drop off at the next day.

My wife and I used this service over 48 hours to get around and gain quick entry to attraction sIt was good value and well organised

This tour is a very good value. However, most of the attractions close (or at least stop admitting people) very early in the afternoon due to the limited daylight.

This was a great way to get about and organise our stay around the three visits included in the tour.

A hop on hop off bus tour is THE best way to explore a city! Any time I vacation to a new city I always check to see if there is a hop on hop off bus tour. The tour is super convenient with multiple stops at the most popular places. I had purchased the bus tickets with the tickets to Edinburgh Castle, Royal Yacht Britannia, and Holyrood Palace- which is something I absolutely recommend! My husband and I were able to see everything and tour everything we wanted to in 2 days. We had to go to the ticket booth on Waverley Bridge to pick up the tour tickets which was very easy to find, and if you just purchased the bus tickets you can just hop on at any stop and show the driver your ticket. The bus stops are easy to find and are labeled with the various route colors. We were SO happy with the bus and tours!

Hop on hop off buses are one of the best ways to visit a city for first timers, and the Edinburgh buses were no exception. They run about every 15 minutes, except for the blue line that goes to the Royal Yacht Britannia, which took about 30 minutes to arrive. On this package we also got tickets for the Edinburgh Castle and The Palace of Hollyroodhouse, which are awesome and a must. We also got a ticket to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. Very nice. All in all, I do recommend this tour package with entry tickets included.
