Your tour will begin in Piazza Duomo, where you’ll join up with your guide and fellow joggers. Stare up at Giotto’s Bell Tower and the iconic red dome of the Duomo. Then, warm up, stretch and begin running at a moderate pace. Your guide will provide commentary along the way and will pause for brief stops so you can soak up the scenery.
Travel across the historic squares of Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria, and admire the former home of the influential Medici family at the Pitti Palace.
Then begin the ascent toward the terrace of Piazzale Michelangelo. At the top of the hill catch your breath and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Gaze at the Palazzo Vecchio, the Arno River and the Duomo, with the beautiful Tuscan hills framed in the distance.
Afterward, enjoy the downhill route back to center of the city, where your tour will finish at the original departure point.
