Your tour will begin with pickup at your hotel in Florence. Your guide will bring you first to the Piazza Santa Maria Novella to admire the exterior of the Dominican church that rests in the square. Pass through the charming area of Croce al Trebbio and then head to the Palazzo Strozzi to admire the palace's rusticated stone, inspired by the Palazzo Medici.
Continue to the famed Ponte Vecchio, stretching over the scenic Arno River. This medieval bridge was initially occupied by butchers, but now hosts a wide array of jewelery shops and art dealers.
Pass through the Piazzale degli Uffizi to enter the bustling Piazza della Signoria. Soak up the famous square’s open-air sculptures, the towering Palazzo Vecchio and the activity from the area’s shops and restaurants.
Your guide will then lead you to the house of prominent Florentine writer Dante Alighieri, followed by a look at the Cathedral Complex. Your walking tour will conclude with drop-off back at your hotel, or in central Florence so that you can continue exploring on your own.
As this is a private tour, your guide can highlight any special interests (architecture, art, history, literature) as you go. Please list your requests at the time of booking.
