Make your own way to Athens Alimos Marina around 9am, jump aboard your cruise ship and set out along the Athens Riviera. Soak up the scenery as you sail past the Voula and Vouliagmeni neighborhoods, with their sandy beaches and lavish resorts, and admire the striking coastline as you gaze out from deck.
Around noon, stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Continue along the rocky coast of Cape Sounion and keep a look out for the Greek Temple of Poseidon, looming high on the Cape cliffs.
As you reach the end of the cape, hop off the ship and ride a dinghy to shore to explore further. Explore at your own pace this extremely well preserved ancient wonder and the surrounding area, learning about its history and mythology. After free time to admire the views and pose for photographs (approximately 1.5 hours), re-fuel with a delicious lunch on-board the boat.
As the sun begins to set over the city, arrive back in Athens and finish your tour in Athens Alimos Marina around 7pm.

We booked this tour with high hopes it would be an unforgettable day. It was unforgettable but for the wrong reasons. The tour as advertised was very misleading. To start we left late. Once we got gone it was clear the two running the boat did not have much experience running tours. We were never given a safety briefing like where are life jackets or what to do if you go overboard, we were never offered refreshments. We had to ask for water or anything else to drink. We ran out of water by 4:00. The only food that was served on this 12 hour disaster was a can of Pringles and one very small meal. This meal was finally served at 4:00pm after being on the boat since 10:00am. When we did eat we were served pasta with butter on it and a Greek salad. We were all starved by the time food was served. I was afraid to ask for seconds because there did not appear to be enough food to go around. The tour was 12 hours and if I would have known food and drinks would be VERY limited I would have packed my own food. Keep in mind we were on the boat until about 9:00-10:00 at night. For the price I think there should have been more included in this trip.

The trip also advertises a tour of Poseidon temple by a guide. This was far from the truth. We were rowed ashore and told to hike up to this place. We did not even know where to go. We were left there alone for about 1.5 hours. No guide and not sure where to even go. We were very disappointed in this tour and would not recommend to anyone.
