Meet your licensed driver-guide at a central location in Hoi An and snap on your safety helmet in preparation for the full-day motorbike ride. The tour includes use of a bike with saddle bags, gloves, and a rain poncho (if needed). Hop on and ride pillion as you venture into the Vietnamese countryside and get an up-close look at daily life.
Leaving the city behind, you'll journey toward the Delta region, heading to the base of the mountains. Ride along tranquil rural laneways where only motorbikes can travel. Stop along the way to visit Thap Bang An, a 1,000-year-old temple dating to the Cham dynasty. Then explore the area around Hill 65 and learn about its significance during the First Indochina War and Vietnam (American) War.
Passing small hamlets and villages, have time to stop for photos and interact with the local people. Learn about the Anwar air base before heading across the Thu Bon River by local ferry.
Have lunch at My Quang restaurant with a traditional Vietnamese noodle lunch.
In the afternoon, continue off the beaten path, riding past iconic scenes punctuated by buffalo and rice farmers with conical hats. On the return trip to Hoi An you'll ride on a floating bridge and country laneways while treated to picturesque views of the sunset as it fades behind the mountains.
