Leisure Travel Egypt - Best to avoid.
Even though our plane was late there was no one to meet us.
The itinerary for this tour did not happen, we had a trip on Nile that we had to pay for.
At the pyramids, we were not given the option to drive up to the end of the road to get a good view of the pyramids, we were forced onto the camels.
The intended stop to look around a Cairo old market/bazaar on the way back to airport didn't happen, due to bad planning and timekeeping.
Not happy with the extra cost we had to incurred through out the day - 600 Egyptian Pound per person.
Had a great time on this tour. Although the pick up driver turned up almost and hour late with no apologies, the rest of the tour was great. Our tour guide, Mahmood in Cairo was brilliant and made the trip very interesting.
The tour was activity packed. The museum was overly crowded the new museum being built should provide some relief. One non-alcoholic beverage should be included with lunch. I was surprised to have to pay for a Coke. My guide was very knowledgeable. You will leave Cairo feeling like you've had the full Egypt experience.
The History is amazing and sights are spectacular. Unfortunately it was tainted by FTS not supplying any information prior to depature, not one iota. FTS did not even supply what was on the Viator confirmation it was in for all intents a valueless document.
Booked through viator/ Fts travel.
Morning pick up at airport was 15 min late . The guide was more interested in taking us to the places which were not even on the tour
Itenary, he was taking us to the places where we have to pay money and take extras as they get commissions .cpsted us lot more than planned . he took us to river cruise charged 3 times money and was not worth at all
Food was good but the place was very dirty .
Except that part everything was good .
Not quite as how I expected. There was no sand dunes in the desert so there wasn't any exciting up and downs in a 4WD as I expected...
Camel riding session was only 2 minutes and dinner wasn't good. Although it's a buffet, but there was very few food.
And bedouin village was only a tourist point, it's not a real village, only few Bedouin people there selling souvenirs.
The only fun part was riding quad bike, so I think it's better to choose a shorter tour with only quad bike riding. 45 minutes quad biking riding is enough.
Enjoyable. However you don't get long enough on the quads and beach buggies before a really bumpy and uncomfortable ride through the desert in a 4 x 4. Visited a Bedouin village where you can ride camels. In our opinion the 5 hour safari is much more worth your money and way more comfortable.
Absolutely loved this tour would of given 5 stars but the first guy we met at hotel was really rude and arrogant but other then that a amazing trip. Worth the money.
Once we were there tour guide kept adding on additional charges. 10 for boat ride, extra for camel ride, extra for food etc.
The visit to the pyramids was awesome, but the fact that we had to stop at different locations of people trying to sell you stuff just gets in the way. The tour guide Ahmed was pretty cool. The lunch was mediocre. Another bad part was the fact we had to take a bus to another bus then to Cairo. The guide on the bus only catered to the German audience and didn't translate to English until only after we asked him to. Not bad but not great. Oh yea and the bus ride was uncomfortable with not restroom and they didn't offer drink and refreshments.
What an amazing experience!
Excelent value for money, even if it took 5 hours to get to Cairo.
Rasha, our guide was amazing. She made the trip fun and interesting, gave us really good tips, told us funny stories and legends.
Lunch was really good, tasty, the restaurant looked nice and clean.
