No communication

Massive lack of communication. You have to contact the company to ask them what time they will pick you up. We got picked up at 12am in a private car, was taken half way and had to get on a coach. It's now 2am and we were woken up and told that we had to transfer to another coach. We went and it was full of rude racist Russians who were spread out all over the seats and wouldn't move (I'm Asian and my friend is Carribean and were the only coloured people on the coach) it took 7 uncomfortable hours to get there. Once we were almost there, a guide got on the coach who started speaking Russian. I had selected english and started panicking. We asked why we were placed on the coach and finally we were told that we had a separate guide. We got off the coach and was greeted but our private tour guide Tharwat who was an absolute delight. He is the only reason I didnt give the trip a 1*, but with the rest of the contribution it's a 3*, but Tharwats experience would be a 5*. Lunch was great, would not book with these people again though.

HORRIBLE

My pickup was 2am. After PATIENTLY waiting for an entire hour outside my hotel I finally called the company up only for them to tell me they thought my trip was the following day. They left without us. To this day I have yet to receive my refund. I even had to stay an extra day in Egypt coming out of my pocket at the hotel so that I can book a separate tour to Cairo. Never again! If giving 0 stars was an option, I would have.

A greatful experience! It's a all day tour (23h from movenpick hotel). There are some things that are not included on tour so you have to pay extra, but the tour was amazing! We loved our guide (Tarab - i think that's the way we written). Loved the piramids and the museum! The boat expirience by the Nilo was refreshing and fun! We advise you to do it! Thanks for the lovely day!!!

This trip was absolutely amazing and will definitely go again, the only reason I didn't out 5 stars. Is because so many extras got added onto the trip. I spent £100 that day. And that's with saying no and haggling. So amazing trip just hide your money in 4 places haha

Bob our guide was excellent and the excursion overall was really good. Not for the faint hearted as it is a long journey there and back. Our drivers were really good and this made the experience less tiring. A long day full of brilliant experiences.

Snorkeling Trip to Giftun Island from Hurghada | May 2019
Travelled 7 hours by bus from cairo to hurghsda. Had booked this activity months in advance. Really wanted to snorkel in the red sea. Egyptio tours were hard to contact. They didn't leave a message at the front desk. Rang them thd morning if the trip. The operator ciuldn't care less. He wanted me to do the activity the next day, but it didn't suit. Oh well, he was gonna give me a refund. I didn't travel 2 days from nz for such poor service. There was ample time for the operator to contact me prior to the day but they didn't bother. Waisted our time sitting in a bus 7 hours each way from cairo to hurghada. Very dissappointed and no explanation given. Very poor service.

Swim with Wild Dolphins in Hurghada | Dec 2018
We snorkelled with a pod of six dolphins about 20 ft below us. The guide was excellent and all in all a great trip. Jumping into open water when the dolphins are located is a bit daunting, but well worth the experience. Good day out and with lunch included good value as well.

Small Group Tour to Luxor from Hurghada | Feb 2018

Worth every penny! The guide was so knowledgeable and helpful. A tiring day but it wasn't just seeing the sights - temple of Carnack etc. It was the drive through Luxor which was an education and the unplanned boat trip on the NIle for 10 was brilliant. Egyptio Tours did us proud

Small Group Tour to Luxor from Hurghada | Jul 2017

A very long and hot day but so worth it. We had an excellent guide and saw some fantastic sights. The pace was good and the lunch excellent. Valley of the Kings, the Nile, Karnak Temple, the Theban Necropolis, the Temple of Hatshepsut all amazing and not to be missed. Wear trainers and light clothing. Take lots of fluids with you and a pillow for the journey. Highly reccomended.

Small-Group Tour: Desert Safari by 4x4, Quad, Buggy, and Camel | Jun 2017

Would not recommend this tour. Absolute waste of money and time, terrible experience. Thankfully Viator refunded me my booking in full after I contacted the customer experience team.

The experience started with hotel pick-up arriving 2 hours late scheduled for 11:30, actually arrived at 1:30. After that, I was taken to the location not a Bedouin village as described, but a series of warehouses in the desert where multiple tour operators were located. The small group consisted of 15 adults and 5 children, and seemed to be a combined group of polish, russian, and english tourists. The tour guide spoke only rudimentary english and talked in polish/russian for the majority of the day.

The quad biking and beach buggy combined lasted roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour. Following this, the tour guide said we would now be heading to the Bedouin village to ride camels. The transport provided was a 4x4 van with 2 benches in the back compartment where they squeezed 8 adults and 3 children and seemed extremely unsafe. Upon arrival, it was revealed that this Bedouin Village was the site of a small abandoned outdoor adventure park in the desert, with a couple straw canopies outside. Here we proceeded to the camel ride. The tour description describes a 45 minute plod across the sands, instead, the camel ride was roughly 5 minutes and we did not leave sight of the enclosure the entire time. There were roughly 12 camels for the 20 guests, each guest was lead to a camel, got on, lead a small distance away turned around and returned to the enclosure. The tour guide then attempted to sell some herbal medicine to us before packing us all back into the vans to return back to their warehouse.

The barbecue feast described for dinner was instead a plate of soggy pasta, salad, and 2 finger sized portions of kafta kebab per customer. The show was equally disappointing and the guests were transported back to their hotels at 7pm by which point I was more than ready to go home.

Small Group Tour to Luxor from Hurghada | Apr 2017

It may seem unreasonable to critique a visit to Luxor Karnak, Nile, Hatshepsut, Valley of the Kings but it's worth a few notes. First, there's no need to book ahead as you can get the same price at your hotel. Second, if possible, get a packed breakfast from your hotel because there are no service stops! Third, the roads are appalling so seriously consider taking extra clothes to cushion the ride. Fourth, our lunch stop was not good, especially for vegetarians, so again consult your hotel first. Fifth, we got faced with a supplementary 10 charge for a boat on the Nile the alternative was a long trip round by the bridge. It was fun but should have been flagged earlier. Finally, the guide was good but only when 'on script' and evasive on questions, so get well-read beforehand. That said, the sites you visit on this trip are completely stunning - unmissable.

Morning Trip to Abu Simbel Temples from Aswan by Minivan | Mar 2017

It was 4 am in the morning, and it was still dark outside, when we were picked up from our hotel in a private minivan with two drivers and our guide. We were going to see the famous Abu Simbel temples and the temples were nearly 300km by road from Aswan. So it would take nearly three hours to reach there.
This journey by road through the Sahara is a once in a life time experience. Watching the Sun rise on Sahara and the endless sand dunes turning golden with the first rays of the Sun was heavenly. The two rock carved temples of Ramses ll and his favourite wife Nefertari on the bank of lake Nasser impressed us. The huge columns inside the temples were engraved with colourful images of goddess Hathor, Nefertari and Ramses ll.
As it was early in the morning so the weather was pleasant. We enjoyed this trip to Abu Simbel very much and would recommend everyone to visit Abu Simbel but one must carry some food and water as the journey is long and through desert.

4-Hour Traditional Egyptian Hammam Experience for Women in Cairo | Apr 2016

I have nothing negative to say about my guide but the experience I had here was terrifying.
The hamman itself is located in an isolated alleyway which I found to be strange.
Upon entering, you meet a guy who was mans the entrance and I found him to be very creepy as when my guide left me alone to go in by myself, he tried to kiss me and touch me inappropriately.
The hamman seems to be a place where all the women gather to gossip but it is really like a jungle inside. They were nice enough to try to use hand language to communicate with me but it was hard as none of them spoke english. This is not your typical spa experience you would expect in a hotel! BE WARNED!
