4-Days 3-Nights Cruise From Aswan To Luxor including Abu Simbel&Hot Air Balloon | Feb 2020
It was my dream since childhood to do a Nile cruise in Egypt, so I did it.
I found a lot of websites offering the tour, but I did it with viator.
Viator offered me a 3 nights Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor.
I went first to cairo, I spent only one night there.
My flight was from cairo to Aswan around 8 am, upon arrival to Aswan met by the tour guide, before going to the boat I visited the high dam and the great temple of Isis.
Then I went to the boat I got a nice cabin, I had my lunch, then we took a motor boat to visit the Nubian village, it was a nice tour. In the evening I had my dinner, slept early to wake up early.
Early morning, before the sun rise we drove to Abu Simbel, arrived around 8 am, I saw the unique temple of Ramses 2.
And also the temple of his beloved wife Nefertary.
We drove back to Aswan in lunch time.
After lunch our boat started sailing to the north, the view on both sides of the Nile was amazing.
We reached the temple of Sobek at Kom Ombo after sun set, waking from the boat was around 7 minutes to reach the entrance of the temple, I spent there around 45 minutes, then I went inside the crocodile museum.
When all the tourists back on board, the boat started sailing to Edfu,
We had a tasty dinner that night, it was Oriental food.
The third day in the morning we visited the huge temple of Horus,
Then the boat sailed to Luxor, on the way the boat had to go through Esna lock.
Upon arrival in Luxor we did Luxor temple.
The fourth and the last day of my trip was amazing, that I did the hot air balloon early morning. I saw the whole city from above, I took a nice photos of the sun rise.
After that we did the valley of the kings and the funeral temple of queen Hatchepsut and the colossal statues of Memnon.
I had my lunch in a local restaurant in Luxor, then we drove to Karnak temple.
It was my last stop in Luxor.
I want to thank my tour guide in Egypt and all the crew of the boat.
