Some of these strange shapes are as tall as 100 ft. But it is not only the Natural landscape that is unique here. Our forefathers used the soft features of the stone to carve out this fantasy-like environment into homes, stables, shops, churches, hospitals, etc. etc. Many early Christians painted the walls of their chapels with their own renditions of Bible stories. Some of these frescoes are incredibly beautiful, attesting to the skills and religious fervor of the faithful. Arrived in Istanbul from US, hotel wasn’t that great but view from my room facing this magnificent mosque was amazing, for half a night it’s ok, woke up at 4 am, heading to airport to start the trip to the coast line then to cruise ship, scheduling the Turkish portion was with Karavan tours, no complains !!! Their tour guides were clean, polite and knowledgeable, transportation to and from hotels, ports and airports were flawless!! Great job coordinating all of that, crystal cruise ship was nice too... it’s not all that but nice and clean enough to give you a sense of comfort all around. Meals, day and night entertainments were good. Athens plus three islands are etched into my mind forever.... a must see part of the world!!!Return to land in Turkey, getting into those out of this world parts of southern Turkey is an extraordinary experience by itself!!! History, foods, people.... choice of hotels and restaurants were good. Knowledgeable guides were an asset!!!You cover a lot in a week but don’t feel tired at all.... highly recommend.

Mt wife and I just came back from this trip and it was amazing.
The tour was serviced by Karavan Travel. The travel guides we had were very friendly and very knowledgeable of the history of the places we went to. Our guides name was Mehmet Gok and was very thorough in his explanation and description of all the places we went to.
The Cruise portion of this itinerary was excellent and the food and drinks was very good.
We highly recommend this trip.

I just got back from taking this tour. Pros: Great trip for the value, get to see lots of things, the Turkey portion is the best, good guide. Cons: Pending on how many people attend, you are on your during the cruise portion of the trip. Working with Karavan can be somewhat difficult. Be careful to ask for everything in writing and follow up if you have any questions or concerns. You need to be responsible for everything- otherwise details and plans will fall through the cracks. Overall I enjoyed the tour because I could see everything. I would not recommend this for those who are not up for the itinerary- its pretty aggressive. Each morning wakeup/activity can be as early as 5am with some occurring at 7am or 745am. Plan accordingly. The drive from Pumakkale to Cappadocia is 7 hours- just an FYI. Overall, great for the value. Just know what you are buying into!

Karavan Travel people are the best. Especially Sertac Erarslan and Ms. Sevcan. They made sure that I won't have any difficulty with my re-entry into Turkey after our Aegean cruise.
It was an amazing adventure. Everything was seamless, from my arrival in Istanbul up to my flight back to Manila.
I saw all the must-see sights in my itinerary with very knowledgeable, helpful, and entertaining guides.
I highly recommend this tour for people who wants a taste of the very rich Turkish and Greek cultures.
