Many compliments to the company for running this tour for a single passengerme...at no additional cost. I did this as a tour from a cruise ship as it sounded more interesting than the ship excursions...and far cheaper! Guide met me outside cruise ship terminal and we two proceeded by taxi to the far-flung locations of the churches. Weather turned very nasty with cold rain and wind during the tour not the company's fault, of course and the guide did all he could to keep me moderately dry while he flagged down taxis after each church visit. Guide was friendly and well-informed on the history and architecture of the churches however, one site was not open and the caretaker could not be convinced to allow us to even peek inside the closed doorsI felt the guide should have known this and not wasted time going there. A good tour for someone who's seen all the other highlights of Istanbul and is looking for something a little different.
