I can imagine that it gets hot later in the day, so depending on the time of year early or late may be preferable.
ALSO please change your cleaning times 8am is the busiest time, everybody is needing the toilet or to shower at that time, try 10am that would better time as everyone is up and about or left by than

Amazing gorges but overpriced cruise

The boat left too late so we missed the sunrise and that was very disappointing when that's supposed to be the highlight of the cruise. No one knew on which boat to get on that was very disorganised. The gorges are so beautiful even on a wet day.The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable but that wasn't worth what I paid I enjoyed the walks better. I arrived very early and still could not seat next to my sister on the first boat.

Very disappointed with the customer service, we didn't end up going on the cruise as I thought I booked a sunset cruise and then received an email the day before stating it was a dawn cruise. I rang the tour operators, and the emergency number to confirm but no-one replied. We couldn't come early for the dawn cruise as there was no accommodation in Katherine. I wouldn't recommend booking through Viator again.

Tranquil, Tour Operator knew his stuff. Loved seeing some rock art. Spectacular scenery. We found it value for money. Morning cruise you don't see crocodiles, the afternoon cruise would be better for this as they would be on the banks sunning themselves

We got stuck behind a very slow moving freight / delivery van driving out to the Gorge. As a result we arrived at the jetty at 1 minute to 9am. Our boat had already departed much to our disappointment. We were advised that we were meant to arrive 15 mins prior to departure. This advice was not in the VIATOR booking or confirmation, notwithstanding it makes sense to do so, and we would have if not for the traffic and inability to find a close car park. The memorable bit was the workaround by staff to ferry us up the river in a tinny to first crossover to catch up with our tour. Thank you! We really appreciate the agility and the tour was fabulous.
