Meet your group and instructors at Namasthe Ayurveda and Yoga in Kochi at 11am for your vegetarian cooking class. Start off the morning with a welcome drink. Then, get introduced to the basics of Ayurveda by a professional Ayurvedic doctor. Gain a better understanding for the different body types there are, and even gain insight into which you have, as well as which foods are needed to keep you healthy.
After, it’s time to get in the kitchen. Get ready to cook up a feast using only the freshest, organic ingredients, including vegetables, lentils, and ghee. Learn about techniques to better prepare your meal. Under the supervision of your instructor, cook up a healthy 3-course meal. Once your meal has been prepared, sit down with your group and instructors to chow down. You’ll be encouraged to eat your meal in a traditional Indian way — eating your meal with your hands off of a banana leaf.
Don’t forget to take your copy of the recipes you made on your way out the door, so you can recreate them whenever you like.
