  • Experience the best things to do in Lisbon while in port
  • Buses depart every 30 minutes from 9:30am to 7:00pm
  • Full commentary provided as you see the city's top attractions
  • Set your own itinerary, and explore Lisbon at your own pace
Begin your Lisbon shore excursion hop-on hop-off tour from any of stops in the city. Getting off at a cruise port? Head to Avenue Vinte a Quatro de Julha (the primary coastal street) and find locations 10 and 17.

Then board a double decker bus and comfortably view 360 degree views of Lisbon. Listen to stimulating commentary as you approach Belem. Hop-off and explore the Marques do Pombal Square, a roundabout with angular hedges surrounding a large column and bronze statue dedicated to Portugal’s revered 16th-century prime minister. Then visit Lisbon’s Oceanarium, located at Parque das Nações, and see the largest indoor aquarium in Europe.

Continue your tour as you hop on and off as many times as you wish along both red and blue line stops. Customize your tour for the perfect balance of coastal and downtown attractions.

Perhaps head to the Bairro Alto and Chiado districts and enjoy a traditional shopping area that mixes old and modern commercial establishments. Take a break after winding through narrow corridors at a local cafe before leisurely hopping back on. Continue your journey full of stops at Lisbon’s most notable attractions.

After a day of great city sightseeing on Lisbon’s hop-on hop-off tour simply return to your port, but make sure you leave plenty of time on your voyage back.

Great tours. Be aware there are 3 most times of the year. If you are a cruise passenger, DO NOT purchase a transfer to the city as there is a stop at the pier. This could save you roughly 16 Euros. Tours very interesting. Well worth the price.

Tour was great! Gives the opportunity to see all the important places in short time. The driver was very friendly as well! I highly recommend
it.

Excellent trip. The rain was a bit disappointing and perhaps the company could supply rain ponchos as some of the other operators do. We got off at Belem and really enjoyed the Tower and the Navigators' Monument.

Enjoyed the really long RED TOUR out to Belem which took most of the morning. After a quick lunch we hopped on/off up to the Blue route. There was not enough time left though by then to do the long Blue. If you are in Lisbon for more than one day, you could get full value. Then you could include the city centre Green one as well for 5 euros extra.

Disappointed and not impressed with Lisbon staff both the young man at Money Exchange and the Security Guard of the Travel Office by the pier are far from helpful we asked where the Hop On Bus stop location and both brushed us off as its not their job?! walked outside the entrance and the stop was just right across the street like all other ports, there is only one line to get on the bus whether you have already bought tickets and for seniors, you get your half price right there you can't buy half price on Viator sites as they allow you to purchase one senior and one adult everywhere was construction and traffic jam audio was not working and heard same complaint from other passengers when returning at 3 p.m., it was a long wait lining up at the pier to get back to the ship as the staff could not handle the number of visitors

We were able to get around the city and see all the sites outside the city that would not be accessible with a walking tour. We recommend this option for a good overview of the city. Be sure you allow enough time to get back to your origin as the buses make a loop and a take ~1-1/2 hr loop.

Lots to traffic on our visit. Red route was ok, but blue line only ran one bus every 1.5 hours .

Spent most of the bus tour in heavy traffic and also about 20 minutes just parked. Also, the audio did not work at all for us or our friends. We finally just got off the bus and walked in the old city.

Sound in buses very hit and miss. The use of side streets added unnecessary time, but not as value for a cruise stop.

Easy way to see the city. Good stops around town, wasn't real busy so no problem getting off and grabbing the next bus.
