Why Travellers Choose This Tour

Your visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour begins with departure from London by double-decker bus for the drive from the city to the town of Watford in Hertfordshire, where the studio is located. Hop out of the coach and head inside to immerse yourself in all things Harry Potter.

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter allows you to walk around independently to see real sets used in the Harry Potter movies, including the Great Hall and Dumbledore’s office. Check out the storefronts of Flourish and Blotts, Ollivanders wand shop, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, and Eeylops Owl Emporium as you explore Diagon Alley, pretending that Harry, Hermoine, and Ron are right by your side.

Learn about the special effects and makeup that brought spells and beloved characters like Dobby to the screen, and see costumes and props used by the actors. Don’t-miss photo ops abound, so don’t forget to charge your camera!

Your experience ends at Platform 9 ¾ , where you can pose with a luggage cart as it disappears into the wall and enjoy an up-close view of the original Hogwarts Express train, whose 78-year-old engine billows steam. Then make the drive back to London to conclude your tour of the magic of moviemaking.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank Enter the all new Gringotts Wizarding Bank on Diagon Alley and discover the magical treasures within. Step into Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault to find the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes, before taking a unique photo surrounded by thousands of pieces of magical treasure…unless the goblins find you first! Studios were great, Pick up ruined the experience.
, Feb 2020
The studio was amazing but due to entrance time and pick up time, we had to really rush the end of the tour. Also, when the driver finally pulled up (he was parked near us while we were all standing in the cold), he was Extremely rude, yelling for everyone to get on a cue, And when people couldn’t because we were all coming from different angles, then he slowly reachEd for and put on his glasses to read the boarding pass, while his companion laughed. It was cold and the line filled with kids and also no ropes or signage for a “cue” unlike the bus stop next to us. Really not the best way to end a tour. I’ve also done this tour years ago and the entire experience was so much better.
My HP tour experience
, Jan 2020
Approx 1hr busride from London to Watford due to heavy traffic, no movie was screened due to error in the system. Golden Tours has their own bus stop, a short walk away from the toilets and the entrance. Overall it was an awesome experience to see the movie sets up close. Took 2 hours to clear the self guided tour. If you pay and follow the audio guide, your visit will take about 3hrs, due to additional information played by the guide. Remember to cater for spare time to queue and eat at their food halls! Booking comes with e fixed timing return trip back to London. Since we ended early, we tried to board an earlier bus. Fortunately, we were not denied entry, however we had to wait in line for the current bus time to lasp before being allowed to board. 45mins ride back to London. Bus will stop by baker st if you prefer to drop there.
Not enough time

gave us 3 hours to explore a 4-5hours worth of tour - pls improve on that. People came from far and paid a lot.
An unforgettable experience for fans of any age!
, Dec 2019
My husband, two-year-old son, and I booked this tour with transportation and have nothing but wonderful things to report! The bus was a double-decker wrapped as the Hogwarts Express which was a great start to the trip. The bus ride to the studio was less than 90 minutes, and we watched the Philosopher's Stone on the way. We arrived and ate at the cafe before entering the tour. We took about 2.5 hours to go through the tour, and it was AMAZING!!! I am a huge fan of the books and movies, and I had to keep reminding myself that I was looking at actual props, costumes, and sets from the films. It was kind of surreal when you've seen it all on screen and then to be walking through it. We were giddy as little kids! There was plenty of interactive experiences and food options, and the gift shop had absolutely anything you would ever want or need. It was definitely an experience we won't ever forget!
Magical place
, Dec 2019
Missed our connecting flight from Helsinki but contact Viator and they were most accommodating. Caught a taxi from airport and met up with tour group. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour exceeded expectations and truly was a magical place. Highly recommended for any Harry Potter fan and any one who enjoys magic. Thank you for the experience.
Timing too just
, Oct 2019
Good staff at Golden tours, amazing Warner bros studios but timing too just. There is only realy 3 hours on Warner bros site because there is a time bus return determined. If you remove1h30 bus to go in the morning and 1h15 to return, and if you plan to eat at the studios, you enjoy max 3 hours. It was ok for us but if you are realy a Pooter fan, 4 ours in the studio before return should be better.
A must for Harry Potter fans

Harry Potter Tour

This tour was absolutely amazing. My grandchildren were beside themselves with excitement throughout the tour. The family was impressed that a movie was shown on the tour bus on the way to the Studio. My grandson particularly loved the dragon at the entrance of studio. It was a fabulous day all round and was great for both the young and old.
Incredible experience
, Sep 2019
I took my girlfriend, who is a huge HP fan, and she was astounded by everything. I was amazed too, even though I'm not such a big fan.
Impressive location
, Aug 2019
Definitely a site worth visiting. We (one parent and two teenage children) had 3 - 3½ hours on location and we could have used slightly more time than that. There are lots to see and it is very impressive, and the shop at the end of the tour is huge. We went in the summer holidays and booked the trip several months in advance. We booked the early tour, i.e. departure from central London at 7:30am. This turned out to be a good idea as there were no queues anywhere that early. When our tour finished, there were so many people all over the place! Only points of criticism are the price levels in general (e.g. photos are expensive) and the selection of food being rather limited.
