Itinerary

2-Hour Tour:
Your 2-hour Segway Tour starts at the Cervantes monument at Plaza de España, dedicated to the most famous literary figure of the 17th century in Spain. Starting the glide on Bailén street, first your guide will take you to Plaza de Oriente, where you will learn about the statues of the Gothic kings and the famous equestrian statue of Philip IV. Nearby, you will be able to admire the facade of the Royal Palace, the largest in Western Europe, and take photos at the “Plaza de Armas” facing the Almudena Cathedral.

Just a moment later, you will glide through the historical neighborhood of Los Austrias to reach the heart of the medieval city - Plaza de la Villa. Narrow streets and alleys lead to the Mercado de San Miguel, one of Madrid’s oldest and most beautiful markets, from where you will continue to the Plaza Mayor to see the centenary Bakery House. Afterwards, you will enter the Literary Quarter, birthplace of the most important artists from the Spanish Golden Age, before seeing the world-renowned Prado Museum. The tour’s final part leads you to the Puerta del Sol and San Gines - one of Madrid's oldest churches - and the Royal Theatre, before ending at Plaza de España.

3-Hour Tour:
After seeing all the sights taken in on the 2-hour route, continue with your guide to the Retiro Park and be amazed by the beautiful gardens full of stunning monuments and fountains. Weave along the park’s pathways, enjoying the tranquil surrounds, and pose for a photo by the Crystal Palace. Watch the imposing Alfonso XII monument, facing the majestic-looking Retiro lake. Having enjoyed a full extra hour on your Segway, return to the start point where your tour finishes.

We did a 3 hour tour with Veronica in early August and it was definitely one of the best things we did. We have a family of 5 so it was a private tour. The longer tour is worth it because you see Retiro Park which is beautiful and one of the most fun places to go on the segway. We heard the city was restricting access to certain places on the seaways beginning in September so I would verify the itinerary but I would tell anyone going to Madrid to do this tour.

Definitely a must do in Madrid! We have never done a Segway before and it was easy and fun and a great way to cover a lot of ground. We will do this at other cities.

This is truly the way to se Madrid's highlights. This was our first time on a Segway and it only took about 5 min to get the hang of it. Then off we went. Our tour guild was great. He showed us things we would have never been able to see or understand . Great, great time, THANK YOU!!

Had never rode a Segway and it was amazing. I had a personal tour guide and she was very knowledgeable about Madrid. I did the 3 hour tour which was a bit tiresome on my legs in the final hour. However, I would definitely recommend it. There are 1 or 2 or 3 hour options. Each give you more sights of the city. The third hour was great as it allowed me to see Retiro Park. My guide was Veronika and she was an exceptional guide.

Angel spoke excellent English and showed my 14-year-old son and me the beautiful sights of Old Madrid, told fascinating stories (Elbow Street!), and gave us great Segway tips. We had a wonderful time and we highly recommend this tour. Well, well worth it.

Fantabulous. Highly Recommended. Ended up being the lone booking for the 3 hour trip that day. Company still honoured the booking and did full justice to my expectation.

Veronica was awesome, took me from palace to plazas to garden - got a great wonderful overview of the city in 3 hours. Best of the three trip i booked at Madrid.

It was a wonderful tour, full of sites and places to see and the tour guide was great. This is a wonderful way to see the sights and get a lot of information about it before you do any other sightseeing tours.

The only challenge we had is that even after a confirmation of our tour for 3 hours, they lost the reservation, but they were good on making up a shorter one and gave us a discount for the two-hour tour instead of 3.
