Good value for money, excellent tour guide
Asha_b, Dec 2022
Overall, it was a great experience and well worth the money.
Lahcen Mansouri was our tour guide for the day. He was an excellent guide. He was very friendly, welcoming and super helpful to everyone in the tour group. He made sure everyone was looked after and included.
Only minor thing would be waiting times on food could be improved and pickup at hotel could be organised better.
Amazing and beautiful

This trip was wonderful, excellent value for money. We were picked up from our hotel at no extra cost. Our guide’s name was Ibrahim and he was fantastic, full of information about the places on the tour, helpful and kind, knowledgeable. At the end of our trek we stopped to eat a tasty home made 3 course meal for 7 euros, fresh bread and water included. I think there were 12 people on our trip, all strangers and Ibrahim brought us all together and we parted friends. I highly recommend this trip, to explore a bit of Morocco you wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to do. Well done Viator and Ibrahim ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ps wear comfortable clothing and footwear (not flip flops or sliders) weather in mountains is changeable so perhaps bring a light cardie or hoody.

Fantastic and informative tour, Youssef was a great guide, took us to some interesting places and went out of his way to sort out a lift to the airport for me when I could have missed my flight.

We were recommended this tour by a friend who recently visitied Morocco and it did not disappoint! We started off the day being picked up from our hotel at 8:30, then headed to the Agafay desert where we enjoyed a camel ride and Moroccan tea, which was a good experience! From there we traveled to the Atlas Mountains and enjoyed a beautifully scenic hike as well as a delicious traditional Moroccan lunch (not included in the price of the activity). Lastly the day ended with a trip to see how Argan oil is made, and there is a chance to buy some handmade products.
The only things to be aware of are that this is not a private tour, we were in a group of about 14 people in total. However this was certainly not a problem as the group were all very friendly. Also, the hike up the mountain was about 2-3 hours and it can get a little cold so I’d recommend bringing a jacket or jumper! All in all it was a fantastic day and I’d definitely recommend! A special thank you to our tour guide Driss who was so welcoming and friendly, he really added to our experience!

The tour was great. We got to see the beautiful mountains and the dessert, and we also had a camel ride and visited a lovely waterfall. The van was comfortable and the guide, Hamza, did a great job. He was a little shy at first but then was more chatty. He was very knowledgeable, and he was happy to answer all our questions. It's great he was originally from the Atlas mountains and told us about life and work in the area. This tour is a great option (and perfectly priced!) to visit the surrounding areas of Marrakesh and encounter the gorgeous nature around the city.

Atlas Mountains hike with a kind and welcoming guide Jamal who even carried our water for us, was the highlight of our return visit to Marrakesh. Hamid collected and dropped off at the hotel and took us to the camel ride where we had the best mint tea of both trips here and were dresses in traditional dress and headscarf for our ride on the camels who were clean and well-treated. It was a gem to find this trip at such a fantastic price.
Youssef is the best!

My mother and I were scheduled to take this tour together, however, as I had a migraine, she went alone. I walked her to the pickup spot where we met with Youssef Boura, the guide for the trip. I told him to take good care of my 74-year-old mom. Upon return, she had nothing but positive feedback for Youssef. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and commented repeatedly on how kind he was, how well he treated everyone who participated, and that she appreciated his insight and knowledge about the area. The food was great, the camels treated well, and the hike was manageable for her age. Thank you so much for taking pictures of my mom and for making this trip so memorable for her. She will never forget it.
Great tour. Highly recommended

Great tour from issmail and driver highly recommend to all visitors. Journey comfortable and no legs were too long, plenty of time to stop and take photos. Highlights included camel ride, short walk (approx. 1 hour) up to a waterfall and lunch in a local restaurant that you’d never find on your own.

Our guide was awesome!

Issmail, our guide, and Muhammed, our driver, were wonderful. He explained lots of the local history of the Atlas Mountains and surrounding area, took us to some small villages in the mountains for a delicious lunch, got to see how argan oil is made, and got to ride a camel! I would highly recommend this trip!
Fantastic day out.

I booked this trip last week and it really didn’t disappoint. We had an amazing, friendly and informative tour guide called Lahcen. His English and French is great so it meant he could communicate with everyone on the tour with us.
Lahcen took our group for a breakfast before the drive up to the mountains and it was the best icebreaker for the rest of the trip.
I would definitely recommend this trip and definitely Lahcen!

We had an amazing and knowledgeable trip with our driver and tour guide named Hamza. He explained basic information that we should know in every place that we visited and he’s making sure that everyone was comfortable and enjoying the tour. First, we visited the Agafay desert, enjoyed the warmth of Moroccan whisky and experienced the camel ride. It’s a fantastic experience! Next, we visited the cooperative of women making Argan oils. We had the chance to observe how they make it. They even let us try different dips (argan oil, olive oil, argan with honey and argan with nuts that tasted like nutella for them, a perfect pair for the khobz and a cup of Berber tea. Of course, I bought their famous oil, tea and lipstick. Furthermore, we had a delicious lunch before our trekking to the mountains (includes vegetarian and chicken tangine), they serve fresh fruits as a dessert as well. On our way to Imlil Valley, the neighborhoods are very friendly and you can buy some souvenirs from them. What amazed me was the fresh citrus drink that you can buy for 10 dirhams only! It’s very good and refreshing!! To sum it up, it’s all worth it what you paid for and amazing experience! I surely recommend this day trip if you think to visit Marrakech.
