  • Full-day trip to Bimah, Wadi Shab, and Tiwi from Muscat
  • Drive along the coast by 4x4 and soak in the beaches, mountains, and villages
  • Visit the Bimah Sinkhole to see and swim in the aquamarine waters
  • Stroll and swim at Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most beautiful river gorges
  • See the traditional villages and beaches of Tiwi, Finns, and Dahab
  • Picnic lunch, 4x4 transport, and hotel pickup and drop-off included
Begin your tour with hotel pickup in Muscat, and journey south by 4x4 toward your first stop, the Bimah Sinkhole.

On route, learn about Oman’s history, culture, and landscapes from your guide, and drink in the scenery as the road winds through the craggy Al Hajar Mountains and along the coast, whose cliffs and bays are washed by the Gulf of Oman.

After about 90 minutes, arrive at the rocky coastal plateau that’s home to the Bimah Sinkhole. Walk to the edges and take in the blue-green waters of the pool below, hollowed 65 feet (20 meters) into the rock. Descend the steps into the hollow, and if you wish, enjoy time to swim in the translucent waters.

Next, continue through the traditional seaside villages of Dahab and Finns to Wadi Shab, one of Oman’s most beautiful river gorges. Drive into this stunning mountainous ravine, and hop out to follow the path through the gorge, walking through date and banana palm plantations beside deep rock pools.

Opt to bathe in the crystal-clear pools, and afterward, return to your 4x4 to drive to Tiwi. View the old-time Omani architecture and gorgeous beaches of this coastal village, whose houses sit at the mouth of another wadi.

Next, find a scenic spot and savor the provided tasty picnic lunch and non-alcoholic drinks. Then, after your meal, set out on your return journey to Muscat, stopping on route at the picturesque port town of Quriyat.

Visit the sweeping harbor and fish souk here before arriving back in Muscat where your tour ends with a hotel drop-off.

The itinerary is well planned, with enough time to enjoy each sight. The trek into Wadi Shab is tiring but enjoyable.

An excellent trip! Wadi Shab was particularly good.

The trip to Wadi Shab was fantastic - definitely worthwhile - our tour guide whilst very polite and friendly didn't speak English very well and there seemed to be some confusion on where we were going on the tour.

This was a brutal experience - wasted 2 hours of our vacation and the driver never showed up. We were so excited but stay away from this excursion and book through your hotel. Viator was good and returned our money but very disappointed.

The concept for this tour is fine and the natural sites are beautiful. However, the guide was disorganized, unprofessional and had bad hygiene, too. I wouldn't call him a guide, he was just a driver, and he had little to no information to share about each of the sights. Some information he did share, I discovered later, was inaccurate. There was a lot of time spent at sites that were of no interest that weren't included in the tour itinerary description. From time to time, the driver disappeared and I ended up wasting time waiting for him or looking for him. As a result, there was no time for swimming. Wadi Shab, the highlight of the tour, was cut so short so that I couldn't finish the hike or swim. Additionally, we ended up at Wadi Shab practically at solar noon and it was incredibly hot and crowded. On the way back to Muscat, he also almost fell asleep at the wheel! Especially given the price, this was a serious rip-off.
